Hello Guys!!

I need help to setup my gear properly, I have a Pioneer DDJ-SB3 controller mapped to Traktor 3 pro and also i have a Novation Launchpad S that I have synched to Ableton Live 11.1, so I want to dj with Traktor and use samples, etc with the Launchpad on Ableton but I can't get to synch both Tracktor and Ableton via Link, anyone have any ideas or know how to do it correctly??

Don't worry about the devices at first, they can add some confusion. Get the DAW/Traktor working together. Like you would with a Rewire host/slave setup.

 

Enable Ableton Link in both Traktor (Preferences > Ableton Link) and Ableton Live (Preferences > Link/MIDI). Make sure both apps are running on the same computer or network. Traktor will likely act as tempo master. If Link doesn’t connect, check your firewall settings and ensure both apps are updated. For audio, use a virtual audio driver like Soundflower (Mac) or VB-Audio Cable (Windows) to route Ableton’s output alongside Traktor’s. Also confirm both apps are using the same sample rate. Restart both programs after enabling Link if needed.
