Interesting, I'm just listening to the Simple Mind's "Belfast Child" which is a song about Irish resistance. What a coincidence. However, "Sweet Caroline" doesn't seem to have any political connotations, at least for me. See, one thing I don't like about sports is that it's too politicised. Partypooper says. No lo se, heh heh. At least you don't support their feeble Manchester rivals 'sperm of satan'. Next time I'm in Barcelona would love to do the Camp Nou tour and swap a kidney for a ticket. Living near Valencia, I've got a soft spot for 'Los Che'.. and once met living legend Manolo El del Bombo in his (now closed) bar next to the Mestalla. Lovely guy.

 

We get along beautifully except for 4 days out of the year, potentially 6 days if those teams meet in the CL and even then we just squint at each other till the game is done. I am not much of a yobbo when it comes to football, it's best to let the players settle it on the field, they really don't need our help.
