I tried the same as you. But they recognize the hardware number and can't be changed. Also look for an emulator that simulates another hardware number. But it's not possible, at least I didn't find it.

 

Thanks all for this thread...I'm trying to attempt the same thing. I purchased and registered some PA plugins and installed them onto my machine but then removed them all and all the related files in order to install the crack PA bundle. The bundle installed without issues but now I am stuck with trying to figure out how to move forward with the re-install to a USB drive for my registered plugins. Can't figure it out and was wondering if anyone who had success here in this thread was in my position: Prior to any crack download and install of PA plugins, had registered with their machine ID on the PA website and account? Any comments/suggestions are much appreciated..thanks!

 

simple.

save the legit license & the crack license in two diff places on the system.

preferable to have the legit license on a USB drive and the cracked one on the C drive....or use 2 USB drives. just DO NOT save them in the same location or device.

 

Thanks for the quick reply ;) I understand in theory how this is to work but I guess my ultimate question is (and I'm just completely missing something here), "How do I save my already registered plugins onto the external USB drive and make that USB stick a Machine ID?" At some point I read that the drive should be ExFat formatted (did that) and connected directly to the computer and not a USB hub (have not done that-yet).

 

Since I already installed an on sale legit Brainworx ADA Multitap Delay on my hard drive and since these guys give such great deals on their ware, I'm going to stick to only legit goods from this dispensary. The only other thing I wanted from them was the incredible Brainworx Oberheim emulation. I can wait for that until the next $29 sale or just keep using Arturia

 

Got it. For some reason the USB stick, which I even tried plugged directly into the computer was not being recognized. I swapped out a diff USB stick(this was FAT32) formatted was recognized and I was able to get it all working. Thanks again for your assistance!

I downloaded the legit license of my PA plugin and stored into an usb, but when I authorize it I cant still use my cracked bundle (license y Hard drive) and viceversa. Im afraid im doing something wrong in my PA account but im not sure thanks!!!

I download the license file of my legit plugin, I move it to the USB, in which I already have an machine.id.txt, but when I authorize my legit plugin. my cracked ones, whoes license is in the hard drive, stop working, and the other way around. I got the feeling that I doing something wrong but dont kow what. Thanks!

 

It Works, I connected a USB Key and where it says "Select a device you would like to activate", I Chose my usb key and press I'm online, I logged in into my PA account and that was it, I tried to work with the plugins offline after the activation and it works ok, hope this can help the ones who are lost

 

is this the same on OSX? I just visited someone who said they just all work on osx

 

well, now you have people like moria and trazor that have been uploading pa plugins that can be used alongside legit ones without having a usb as requirement

 

Yep it works on OSX too, just grab an USB stick and you're golden

 

I've had both installed on Mojave and never used a separate USB for them. I have never used the same exact plugin cracked/uncracked, but I haven't needed to install 2 copies of anything; like you would with Kontakt, Falcon or anything else with hacked libraries. Installed directly into /Plugins/Components (because they are AU)

ok so I have to use a usb stick formatted as fat etc or can it be one of my ext HDS? (im on Mac catalina btw)
the thing is my plugin alliance only seen the machine ID and nothing else..I went to the site and also see this info, it says I have two more licenses I can use on other devices but lists only my machine ID

yea but on Mac you only get that 2015 all bundle using the key engine (Magnum eq4, stereomaker, etc) aren't Moria etc people who work for softube?

But ok I figured it out, I don't know why people who also own PA stuff don't post a clear cut explanation here
In order to use multiple PA Licenses, as they allow you to on other machines with a USB stick, you basically log into your PA account, download the license key (you will see it in manage my etc page) once you have it put this on the USB key and after you try opening the paid version you activate the USB key as it only shows up on the Mac once a PA license key is there.

The thing is that this proves PA scans your drives, knows what you have and eventually catches up with you....even if you purchased half their stuff, PA, Soundtoys, Avid and softube are a55-h0l3s
