Hi there, hope u doing well.

well im gonna straight to the point.. im around at audiotools after 1 year not being there, cause ive been so worried about my pc and some weird lags experiences the last time i downloaded some vst from there...
so im just trying to install some waves factory vst that are not in the sister site.. but the keygens, all of them ( i download a bundle , the WF-BUND-12-2020 ) have a warning from windows defense... of course i already notice this is normal... but i install some kazrog vst from sister site and everything its normal.. so.. i noticing that all of the R2R keygens are the "problem" of trust here for my pc and i.

i already search the best ways, here in audiosex, to get cleared my trust when im at install these kind of files or just open to get the register file, deactivating the windows defense...but i cant get it clear... should i just trust in audiotools? dot in? just blinded?
i mean.. with the sister site im super comfortable and knowin those teams are trusting that site at 100% for saying ... gets me caught in what should i do... i love sister site but i dont get it why one site have this kind of vst and the sister not. maybe im just too noob ? on the history or something im missing?

uninstall defender...
employ some other AV
add R2R to AV whitelist

maybe your a masochist TRY add R2R to Defenders whitelist

Test your downloaded software with R2R Root Certificate. If the certificate says it's OK, it's OK.

Btw; all antivirus software will say that R2R's keygens are viruses because the keygens are made with similar code to viruses. That doesn't mean they are viruses though.

EDIT: I think the root certificate will only work with software released after the certificate itself (09.09.2021), so it might not work for the one you have downloaded.

hi ! i already try the Avast! cause it have a SandBox to try .... thats the way i try the kazrog vst from sister site.
but how can i trust in audiotool dot in? cause it says R2R crack but far i know can have a virus or malware cause its not the sister site .
I think im already did add to a whitelist , but maybe its still not... did u have some tutorial aorund there can help me? maybe im doin it wrong. i already download and install the Certificate from R2R from the sister site, but when i install it ... still cant recognize the R2R files like friendly files.

Hi ! thx for the response. yes! i already have installed it... or i guess so? i just double clicked and installed it some months ago... but i guess i cant get my w10 recognize as friendly those R2R files... that why im wondering if the site ( audiotools dot in ) maybe adds some malwares/virus to the original r2r files or something... i download the certificate but still get the caution warnings from R2R files... maybe im forgotten to do something?

We'll I've been using audiotools and even the shadier plugintorrent for years, specially to download all the heavy stuff. No problems so far but you never know.

A couple of things that have triggered alerts: keygen files themselves, and the "hosts" file being edited (even if you do it yourself manually). Other than that, nothing, even after later analysis. That said, i don't have the best AV ever so idk.
