I don't have any problems in using plugins that require only the iLok Manager, it's free unlike the dongle, and way less intrusive than Cloud, you just need to be online for the initial authorization of each plugin and after that you can block it's access to the internet and all your stuff will continue working. Never had a problem with it so far.
