Yeah I remember that, I sent out a warning to some of my clients informing them of the situation. Well I can tell you one thing: it all really depends on what OS you're using too. If you're on Windows 7 or 8 then you're dealing with a pretty secure foundation and most of the inherent problems of XP (an unprotected registry, no UAC, no address space layout randomization, etc.) have been fixed. Also if you have a UEFI BIOS then you can take advantage of SecureBoot which is another layer of protection. Personally I used an XP computer for 7 or 8 years with NOT ONE SINGLE VIRUS!!! Really it all comes down to prevention, logic and foresight to prevail. You have to have a plan and do your part in the daily operation and maintenance of your computer.

You should be... With AudioSex you given music producers quiet a unique site to form an awesome community.

There are hundreds of Warez forums, AudioZ isnt even the only site with an audio-warez community. But a forum where any kind of producer is accepted, a forum that dont focus on genre, way of production and if the users act legal or not, thats not common. Its either warez or no warez, not much forums where both kinds are welcome and completly accepted.

I am sure I catch some malware here and there during a month surfing,
but I delete my surfing session and everything within.
As I told you , I am very sure I have no infections.

    I don't install unknown software.
I open keygens only inside a sandbox and nothing escapes out of it.

I know my PC inside out and have enough experience to know when something isn't right with it.
I had all kind of problems with malware and viruses all these years.
    Sandboxie made me forget that...

All software on any OS should be sandboxed and never directly in contact with the OS.
Apple is going that way, and it's the way all OS will be in near future.(can see that in my glass ball)
It just makes more sense and is very safe.

Malware and viruses will happen, but much more less then now...

I wonder how often people predicted that over the years...

First there was the technology, and soon people found out they can sneak around the usual way. First "hackers" were phone phreakers, I believe...

Business computers and personal computers were build, and people found a way to hack it, or play with it. The creators and other people went against it, created protection. And than some people sneaked around the protection.

Its a process, it goes on and on and on.

Sanboxes might be safe now, but who knows what people will think about in future. There is no ultimate solution.... Just process.
