When you say 'Hip Hop,' what sub-genre are you referring to?

 

All of them I don't stick to one thing

 

I like Synth Magic and Hollow Sun stuff

 

+1 I use their OSCILLOSINE and PULSTAR. In fact, I have KONTAKT installed just because of the two.

 

i Just downloaded 2 dif copies of Voiced of Apocolypse...Getting the 'No Library Found'. Why is this?

because some packs are library's(where they work with native instruments i believe to make it an official kontakt release) and some arent so you have to use the browser an manually search for them on your HD but you can make shortcuts in kontakt so it takes you to that file path immediately

 

studiolinkedvst has some decent hip hop library

 

Maybach Empire is also nice for HipHop

Well could you help me with voices of apocolypse? I don't care about a graphic it can't even find a library

 

If it cant find the library its because there is no .nicnt or .nkx, so hence there is no library. Unless you have a bad .nicnt. It may just be a quickload library.

drag and drop. In kontakt go to the top where it says 'Quick' i believe. Click that. Then you have something pop up on the bottom. Instr on the right, bank in the middle, and multi on the left. Drag and drop your .nki files or the whole named folder into INSTR and Multi. I havent found any 'bank' things besides Loopmasters. so ignore that. and thats all.


I dont make .nicnt files.

If you read my kontakt sticky you will see the names of users who do make them. Introninja is one amongst 10 or so. LV426, olymoon, SHADEZ, etc. I just got introNinjas master folders so i will see how they are. I have used alot of LV426's .nicnt and .png files. Olymoon is a busy one, so may or may not have the time. PM them for more info.

When you tell one of the makers to help with a .nicnt/.png make sure they know your folder structure and instrument version number.

I had a number of times when LV made me a .nicnt, but it was for a different version (with a different file structure) and it didnt work.

Wow it wouldn't let me drag using the vst in flstudio. Its an Ewql product so it should be a library...I will contact those others thanks

 

Easiest way to set up Kontakt is using the standalone version.
