    the recently uploaded video reminds me to add to the thread, Serato Sample.

    I know 100$ isn't like some of the things listed here; but that is also not cheap for a sampler plugin/app. I wanted to like it. But it does nothing to improve workflow for me. I have nothing bad to say about it, but I certainly will not be buying it and I deleted it in a few days.

    thats absurd... serato is amazing... only if you know how to use it properly. What I do is say I want to play a kick, snare and hat in one instance of serato. What you do is throw the three samples you like into your daw and export as 1 wav file then you can play a kick snare and hat all in one instance of the plugin, but dont forget to turn on poly mode so the samples dont cut off

    XLN XO, Atlas... I like Serato Sample but what you're using it for is kinda redundant. There are better options out there.

    it would come down to the algorithms that are used between the two samplers and which one is better. I havent messed with logics sampler because I bought serato for logic 9 on my old computer and have yet to use the new sampler in logic 10.7. I guess it would be worth a shootout to see which creates less artifacts, but I get what your saying

    I mainly use it for keyboard samples. Like MPChead on patreon will release a bunch of processed chords in a pack and I'll take the ones (like 3 or 4) that vibe together and use the same technique I described there... For just simple kick snare hat stuff I'll usually use battery or even speedrum if I wanna just put something quick down
