I just followed @BigM 's instructions on page three of this thread to install on my latest M1 Pro 2021, I am also running Monterey 12.0.1

I also just need to put this out there, @BigM you're an absolute legend for solving this for many of us! I'd been scratching my head since I bought my Mac a few months ago and just couldn't figure out a way. I always got as far as registering the plugins using the waves AU Reg. utility, only to get a notification that WavesLicenseEngine.bundle was damaged and needed to be binned lmao.

The following steps you suggested helped bypass this! :

    xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

Thanks a ton for the help!! Fully working on macOS Monterey 12.0.1 + Logic Pro X 10.7.1

I've tried this tutorial (the last update) a few times with different waves RET versions I've found (last one is "Waves.Complete.v2021.11.15.MacOSX.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-RET") and I've still had no luck, the DAWs (tried Logic Pro 10.7.2 and Ableton 11) don't even scan them or if they do, they just scan "Waveshell... .vst" which is useless. Does anyone have an idea of what could be going on? (Remarking: I followed the latest tutorial step by step, the one with the terminal step too)

I'm on a MacBook Pro M1 running MacOS Monterrey 12.0.1

    Sorry I don't understand this part "10.copy license file to Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses"

In the Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses file i have a file called 'LastAcceptableMacAddress.txt' and in that file it has my Waves licence iD.. Do I have to replace or add the iD with the *.wle one generated from keygen or am i supposed to do this another way?

    Thank you

No, copy your .wle license to the licenses folder. No need to replace or modify any files inside that folder.

Hello, I'm new here and I created an account specially for this thread. I need these Plugins because I got a new m1 pro and my old Plugins doesn't work anymore. Can someone tell me why I can't click on any of these torrent links? I got an older version from a friend but that one doesn't work :(

    Hello!
I'm getting the license error with Waves V13 in Logic Pro and Studio One. But they are working fine on Pro Tools 2021.12 :dunno:
Is anybody with the same issue?
    I tried WC.13.11.10.21.MAC and WC13.15.11.21.
(There's no keygen on those installers. They have a WavesLicenseEngine patch installer. Its ok?)

    Thx a lot!

Do you use a M1? If yes, try last ret's release.

all my mono>stereo plugins just show mono, then they fail to open and that I should contact waves about it. I have to put the gain utility on a mono track, make it faux stereo then load up the stereo instance of the plugin I was trying to use

    You are using logic right?

1.Manually rescan/validate waves plugins through plugin manager.
2.In order to make an empty audio track stereo click the button shown in attached file.

Since this thread is on the topic of Wave plugins, I have a question.

I have downloaded the Waves complete, it was version 13.0 or something like that, when I follow the steps and install what I want, I do that and I have currently installed what I wanted.

However when I try to install other plugins, the whole waves plugins don't even show up, the plugin I want isn't there, my old plugins isn't there, is that supposed to happen? I'm not sure. It looks like I can only install everything I want ONCE, and that is not useful at all.
And yes I even re-pasted the License.bundle file or whatever it's called, yet that didn't work.

    Any ideas?

You mean installing some other plugins from waves or another developer? Reinstalling other waves plugins after patching can interfere with the patch(no issues with plugins from other developers). If you had to install some plugins later try replacing license and the bundle file.Maybe you'll need to re-register plugins with au reg utility.

If plugins don't show up try manually rescanning plugins from daw.

    Hi everyone!

Waves are working perfectly on my Macbook Pro M1pro - Monterrey (12.1)
Tested on ProTools 2021.12 , Logic Pro 10.7 and Studio One 5.5.

    Special Thanks to @BigM !!

I downloaded RETSU installer (With the R2R Keygen)

Name of the version is: Waves.Complete.v2021.12.05.MacOSX.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-RET. Copy and paste this to google and you will find links to torrents.

    Follow his steps:

1.if you have already installed waves go to central and perform a complete waves cleanup.

2.delete all waves folders in following locations (if available).

    Library>Application Support>Waves(unhidden)
Library>Audio>Plugins>WPAPI(sometimes this thing is left after uninstall)
    ~Libarary>Application Support>Waves Audio and Waves Central(hidden)
    Macintosh HD>Users>Shared>Waves

*Also make sure that all vst/vst3/au/aax waveshell plugins are removed.

3.download latest waves v13 release by ret.

    4.extract and install waves central.

5.perform an offline installation by choosing plugins you like to install.

    6.replace WavesLicenseEngine.bundle in Library>Application Support>Waves>Modules

7.open terminal and paste following commands,

    xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

8.run waves keygen on a windows pc or with crossover.

9.find your computer id on waves central licenses tab, enter exact id to keygen and generate license file.

    10.copy license file to Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses

11.restart your mac first and run waves au reg utility and click let's go, it will identify your plugins.

12.open your daw it will automatically scan plugins, if not rescan plugins manually.
