Is their anyway to create your own list of favorite chords with scaler? There are many chords that just sound beautiful and are inspiring just hearing them and I often noodle around on the piano and come across a chord that sounds fantastic and were it not for Scaler or EZKeys I would have a bit of work on my hands just trying to figure out what chord it was. I know a lot of people that do the same, so it just makes sense to have a feature to quickly add chords like that, that you come across to a favorites list but I don't see how. I've searched the manual for a few key words like 'favorite' as well and I don't see anything.


Ideas?

What about using User Chord Sets? I know it's not exactly what you are looking into...

thats why i stop using scaler again i like customizing and saving my own shit and making my own stuff seems like they want u to scroll all the time to find the chord u want or type it and the saving progression thing is not that big of a deal any program can save a progression so scaler is good in certain area's but it has been a workflow issue for me i don't have to deal with it no more thats why i like RapidCompser and thats why im using it

 

I've seen people make incredible complex music with it and say it is very helpful to them. for me personally, it is complete overkill. I really like the Chord Trigger Midi FX plugin in Logic.

 

Scaler is not the easiest to learn but is easier than learning music theory of that level. It is not a complete solution but a very powerful tool to generate ideas and keep one away from writer's block.

 

There is an option to export your chord progression, including all changes and import them to any new instance/project with scaler 2.5
