I need little help with Engine v2.8 Fucked version and with activation of FK3 and other new libs....


Ok, so..

- Installed "Engine 2.8.0.58 WIN Installer.exe"
- Installing "Engine_FuCKed_setup.exe" into "C:\Program Files\Best Service\Engine 2" where "Engine 2.8.0.58 WIN Installer.exe was installed , right?
- after that copy keys provided by members into "c:\ProgramData\Best Service\Engine\keys\", right?
- run Engine from the "C:\Program Files\Best Service\Engine 2", right?
- setting up midi and audio and adding library + restart Engine
- run Engine again and try to load FK3 , and:
--> it should popup window with activation where i can put some fake code, right?

What i'm doing wrong? Where I have to install "Engine_FuCKed_setup.exe" correctly??

The following procedure will delete Engine 2 completely from your system, including settings and activations:

1. Deinstall your "Engine 2" and "E-License Manager" from Windows Option: "system settings -> add/remove programs"
2. For the next step, make sure you activated "show hidden files and folders" in your Windows Explorer view.
3. Delete the following Folders (if still present after deinstallation):

-> C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Best Service
-> C:\ProgramData\Best Service
-> C:\ProgramData\Yellow Tools
-> C:\Program Files\Best Service
-> C:\Program Files (x86)\Best Service
-> C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Yellow Tools

4. Install "Engine 2.8.058" and "Engine_FuCKed_setup" afterwards.
5. copy the provided key (example keyfile looks like this: "000000CA") to folder: "C:\ProgramData\Best Service\Engine\keys"
6. Now add the Library in Engine 2 standalone application
7. Register it with "000000-000000-000000-000000-000000-000000" at Step 3, press activate, close the "Samples not found" window, press "Abort loading"
8. Close Engine 2, open Engine 2 again and load the instrument of the new library.

I should install "Engine_FuCKed_setup" into folder where Engine2.exe is -> "C:\Program Files\Best Service\", right?

The "Engine_FuCKed_setup" installer only ask you for the location where you want to place the VST Instrument. So you have to install this to the locations where all your VST Instruments are located. Leave the rest untouched.

 

Things was done as u said. Every single step by step and still go the same error... It seems that sth is wrong here with e-license manager... it doesnt show up here ..just go this wired error.... antyvirus ofc is disabled... when is on its blocks "Engine_FuCKed_setup.exe"..

 

Seems like the Engine 2 application has no access to the E-License Manager

that needs further investigation. The E-License Manager needs administrator privileges to run.

check this path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Yellow Tools\E-License Manager

there should be a program named "E-License Manager.exe" inside. Please start this program and the register tool should open.

You can also try the following:

1. Run the whole installation process "Engine 2.8.058" and "Engine_FuCKed_setup" as admin (rightclick and run as administrator)

or if this not works:

2. run first the "Engine 2.8.058" setup, then check the path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Yellow Tools\E-License Manager" and delete the "E-License Manager.exe" then install "Engine_FuCKed_setup.exe" afterwards so it could place the patched "E-License Manager" application in this path.

 

Yeah I know that there is that exe file... was trying run it and it doesnt work as well.... same error

BUT

I have found other solution... Just copied "E-License Manager.exe" from 2.7 version (previous release). Using Engine 2.8 and that E-License Manager.exe from 2.7 and all works fine. All libs are licensed...

As a favor to everyone who asked about 'Dark Ages' We updated the post (in sister-site) to include their library key. The post was pending moderation for several hours but it is online again (until DMCA Takedown )

Your message is very useful to us.

We have packed all executables with Enigma Protector which may be causing problems in some systems (like yours)
We will not update the post (in sister-site) again but we will take it into account for future releases.

If someone has the same problem please let us know.

 

so this Klanghaus 2 , strangely it loads only patches from Klanghaus 1 library but with new GUI, trying to load any other (new Klanghaus 2 patches) crashes the engine, standalone as well as plugin.
R2R version.
anyone got the same problem?

edit: It may have to do with me being stupid and trying to activate R2R encrypted key with old *no team* 2.7 version in advance to installing R2R one...may it have fkked up my machine key?

 

EDIT: got it working. 1)) did put it at main drive instead of external, 2)) did put r2rkeyfile into a folder. before it was without folder with the oder files from the library.

One of the two things got it right.

so, is there any chance for us who prefer R2R version to use Dark Era, Ancient Era and Forest Kingdom 2 - cause as I see it they all do not have the R2R encryption file included..
