Connect Synth/Keyboard to SSL2+?

    These are stereo to mono to connect a synthesizer to an amplifier (mono), for example.

    I thought he wanted to record the drum etc. sounds on his keyboard in DAW ... right? and that's what the cable is perfect for ... or am I getting something wrong?

    I think he wanted stereo not mono.

    aha ok, but he can also record 2 times mono (hard left, hard right pan) and can then work much more creatively ... but he was helped well and that counts :)

    Yes, I know the trick and it's great that you prefer to think @Deceptive, but almost all synthesizers are programmed for stereo, so that the stereo position on the mixer remains in the middle. I used your trick once when I didn't have enough stereo jacks on the mixer, so I panned hard left input 1 - and hard right input 2. (Smiley)

    Thanks All, i connected it at my place later in the night. Very good quality.

    Now i only need to order a MIDI Cable for a few bucks, then i can controller it from Live 11.
