Ableton Live 11 Suite

Is it possible, either with Ableton or some other software to convert a .adg to a Kontakt instrument.

I think the .adg file I have is a Ableton user rack.

Sorry if this is a newbie question (which I am to Ableton) but if I dont ask, I dont find out and google is no help.

I use V2.9 (Air) a lot for converting audio to acid format.

Just had a look at chickensys website and its up to V7 now at $149.95 which is way too much for me.

Don't get me wrong, its a sophisticated and effective program but to convert 2 or 3 Ableton racks that, may or may not convert correctly and I may or may not end up using, thats too rich a punt for me.

 

Note: As of Live 11 it is no longer possible to import .nki, .eks, .sf2, or .gig files into Sampler. "

 

They dont make cross platform compatibility easy do they - thats a huge reason to not use Ableton.
