noiseash sounds harsh. I never understood the electro-static sound distortion that you get from the 31102 is that what hardware sounds like?

Sure. if you turn on the preamp it makes a cut at around 100hz.
As I've inserted it on plugin doctor I couldn't believe my eyes. All kind of crap is going on like you can not believe even if you only select a different frequency.

Usually this shit goes to de-hum and de-noise. Or you can simply create such stuff with tone generator, quiet 50/60 Hz sines, 100/120 Hz harmonics etc...then quiet white/pink noise with some subtle equing for hiss effect. Or digitize any clear cassettee tape and add as a hiss sample.
Even/odd any saturator. Oversampling etc. In this case any even/odd/both saturator is unique. But does it worth buying that stuff... For listeners it makes not so much sense.
