Hello lovely people,

I recently downloaded the free MPC Beats software.
Whilst going through some Sequences, in both standalone and plugin, I get this when I go back to something I already opened during the session:

It happens with the provided content as well as libraries I have added since.

Why is it happening and what should I do, please?

Right, thanks. But why? And why is it happening, please? I need to know.
If I quit and start a new session it is fine and then will start all over again.
Why?
And why not Replace?

 

It's because the program or parts of the program have the same name.
Rename,Save and continue on.

 

@Soul1975 Thank you, but how will the project find the samples it needs if it is shared within an expansion pack and the sample or file is renamed?
Is this how tedious it is to even audition things, let alone get anything done?

 

More than likely It's just renaming the program not the samples.
I've never come across any conflicting names on the X. The XL does but that's when there's a conflict with sample names.

 

Yeah, okay that makes sense to me now. It was 'Sequence' files I was opening, as I said at the top.
Seems there is there a lot of 'renaming' having to happen here!
Is it telling me the program exists because maybe there are double files somewhere?
There is the built in stuff, then the free content, then I have expansions that are of the same genre and from Akai.
Maybe there are doubles.
