Sorry if I made it look like I'm not open to criticism, but I don't think I can discuss music taste objectively, I thought discussions were beyond the point of your thread since there was no mention that you wanted to discuss anything in your original post. But, if that's the case I'll have to leave it be since I don't want to have that kind of discussion, anyhow, take care!

 

What does "electronic music" mean?

Electronic (Merriam Webster Dictionary)
relating to electrons or utilizing devices constructed or working by the methods or principles of electronics

Electronic music (Wikipedia)
Music that employs electronic musical instruments, digital instruments, or circuitry-based music technology in its creation

I never 100% understood where the concept begins and where it ends: Is any instrument that uses wires considered “electronic”? Does the electric guitar produce electronic music? What about the Fender Rhodes piano? Does any sound processed by my mixer become electronic?
Continuing in this way then also the voice of a singer, since it is recorded through a microphone (and therefore a wire) automatically becomes electronic music
Two options: either I am very confused or trying to define what electronic music is is impossible

I propose to change the thread title to "Post a song and I'll bully you for your shitty taste"

Electronic music has another meaning too, and it's music produced by people who can't get real instruments in their hands and are also unable to understand the relationships that govern music.

I think you're more interested in the progressive and techy version of electronic music (house and techno)?

My favorite one is melodic progressive techno and house. Intensively melodic and strong beats:

Starts in 4:50 and ends in 10:25

I've listened to a lot of genres of electronic music, but I've never been able to make connections with most of them. I can't digest music that doesn't have a melody.

Thank you. like I said, I've made it a few years ago. I don't know where I put its project.
