I'm on an M1 Pro chip 14"... all of these crackers that crack mac software recently are using terminal commands now (instead of keygens which I think is utterly retarded in the age of crossover) and I dont think they are tested on ARM chips... but I also dont know if there is something wrong on my end because any time I run a .command, probably a 30% chance of it working... for instance, the JD-800 release I get this:

ERROR, ERROR, ERROR but "successfully patched"??? Any time "sudo" has to be used, or "chmod" has to be used before running the .command it fails, and its real annoying cuz none of these guys make the tried and true keygen method anymore...why is this?

Anybody know what the deal is here? Is it the command files or is it my machine?

 

What I've learned from all these releases: Always deepsign everything that does not work and most of the time it will work in the end. Someone here wrote an app combining xattr, codesign and everything you need, its called codesigner I think.

 

I used Permissions Reset 2 on the newest Roland release commands and it worked fine for the permissions issue. https://ohanaware.com/permissionsreset/

I dont think I have a primission issue... I have a sudo issue? Also what exactly is codesigning... and why is it not done prior to a release?? Like isnt that what the person cracking the software does??? I'm clueless when it comes to coding... I have too much shit going on to dive into coding things as they relate to cracked plugs hah

 

SUDO is "Substitute User Do". meaning an account which is not Root may act with that same access level.

All you are doing is temporarily assuming Root, without switching accounts. it is 100% a permission denied error when running Trazor's command files, because "borrowing" root via sudo command has failed already.

this should explain code signing and gatekeeper better than me, but you are basically saying " this is ok to run" upon ad-hoc authority: Code signing is a macOS security technology that you use to certify that an app was created by you. ... You participate in code signing as a developer when you obtain a signing identity and apply your signature to apps that you ship. A certificate authority (often Apple) vouches for your signing identity.

you should use it, Codesigner and BatChmod. when used correctly, you will be able to open 99% or more of Mac Scene releases. (obviously excluding processor type and MacOS version compatibility problems. that's anything.)

Crossover is not free. Wineskin Winery is. You can do the same thing with PC executable Keygens and not have to screw with an "illegal" copy of something. kind of ironic

Little Snitch firewall is not free. LuLu firewall is free and again, will do the same thing without having to warez something for one little task like blocking outbound traffic and messages back to the Death Star.

 

Have you installed XCode? If not try to install it, it is used for Codesigning...

nope, it is quite easy! just typ in terminal "xcode-select --install" (without quotes) depending on your ISP it will take some time or not ;-)

 

I feel like i've done this before tho, is this related to my sudo issue? as in xcode handles that and thats why I am getting this error every time i run a sudo command?

There is something wrong with your sudoers as it seems

 

this is a way to try without using Terminal much:

If you have access to finder and a system administrator account, you can fix this without a reboot by leveraging these.

Open up your finder and go to /etc. In here, you can view the details of the sudoers file, including permissions - screenshot below.



Change the permissions for "everyone" here to Read & Write.

At this time, you can edit yourself back into the file with any text editor. You will have to return permissions for "everyone" back to No Access before sudo will allow you to perform a sudo.

 

I as a novice dont need to be messing with system wide code to work with an audio plugin, it also makes the methods different for both mac and windows whereas a kegen usually is universal... there's a lot of upsides to keygens AS A USER, as you can see I clearly could not do anything better, I am not good with mac coding or any coding whatsoever...

CODESHiNE does it better as I installed his release with literally no issues, because guess why... it doesn't use terminal, and is simply a replacement of files. So I'll stick to that version. I will be backing up my mac soon and starting over and only gonna use what I like to use and thus doing so may fix my terminal issues

You know what the problem is, and the Mac boots already. Google it.

You do not need to format to fix this. Since you do not know what you are doing in Terminal, I am reluctant to recommend any of them. You will actually need to read and learn some stuff. But you should spend the time, because CLI and Terminal will never go away.

there are other ways, one of which is to rename and switch sudoers~orig with your sudoers.

once you are backed up and going to format anyway; try everything then, if that will make you more comfortable using system wide commands. you can't break anything more.

A minimum of geek knowledge is required in order to install and apply cracks to apps / plugins. It is obvious that to succeed you will have to study a little what happens under the hood of your operating system (otherwise, the only other option you have is to buy the software)
Also, learning new tricks is always good: it makes you smarter.
