Good movie.. at least better than I expected.

Things/approach, and the final direction to which it points/resolves are questionable,
it's not a proper continuation to the original, but at least it's entertaining..

The intro was killer, great stuff, just like the first movie..

I don't understand Keanu's acting, why so Inexpressive, so slow?
there's barely any acting involved in what he does.. oh well

Good cast, well balanced.
(There's clearly some sexually diverse characters around,
but it's never the focus of the movie, it's still a Matrix movie,
and that's to be thanked considering the day/age and who's making the film..)

I didn't like the Tarantino music in the trailer, I don't like it now..

The first segment until Neo is freed is a bit Slow,
but then the movie really goes Up..

Nice rhythm, lots of interesting little ideas/things introduced,
it's really filled to the limit with info, but it's all well placed..

I like the Mirror-portal thing, makes more sense than phones..
I like the robo-animal fellas, and the nano-bot Morpheus thing.
(except the swallow robot, what was that for again?..
I guess it's a bit of a Star-Wars resource, but hey what you want..)


Movie is pretty good until they get to Sati,
by that moment you've been receiving new info au-gogo, but the movie doesn't let it Breathe..

There's gotta be a moment when things settle a bit,
and then you move-on to the next shit..

Not happening here, it's always goin up and Up, more and more info..

I don't like Zion (or whatever is called now) being so judgemental/authoritative..
didn't make much sense in the first movies, doesn't make sense here.. but I guess is a useful argumental resource.

Which well, thankfully doesn't last long,
and kinda goes down the drain moments after,
when they have to go back inside to avoid's Trinity's death..

Swarm scene is abit like a Zombie movie,
although cinematographically reminded me a bit of James Cameron..

Bullet-time Architect is a good idea, the first time is a bit weak,
but the second time in the Simulatte is much better, good effect.

Didn't see the Smith vs Architect scene coming,
at least not having them engage so Directly.. but yeah, good plot twist actually.

I didn't understand what that plug-in replacement between the Asian girl and Trinity was for,
but hey wtf do I know, it worked.. lol

And then wtf.. they escape, then go back in,
little chat with the Architect and the movie Ends.. lol


The Architect vs Smith really needed a much longer in-depth development,
here it serves as a deus-ex-machina kinda resource, but wtf..
we need to know more about Smith, see him do shit from his POV, and see how his story line builds up to that moment..

We also need to know more about the new Architect,
how is he such a simp? what happened to the old one?
Did Smith destroy him in the last movie, was it Neo, or no-one? I forgot..
But in any case nothing is explained in this one, and that's another big miss.

The miss of the Oracle character, and pointlessness of the Merovigian, are big losses..
They had a chance to make things more interesting/deep and lost it..
but well this is more of a fast intranscendental movie I guess.

And then ofc the new super Trinity and slow-Neo,
wtf is this all about, what's the plan, what happens to Zion and the Matrix and the friendly Bots?

I guess this will be on the next following movie?
Or just forgotten, it's one or the other..

Certainly not the best movie ever,
and maybe not even a great Matrix movie..

But at least is not a complete shit-show like I donno..
Prometheus/the rest, or the last Star Wars trilogy, etc..

It's certainly Undeveloped, but passable as a Matrix movie,
just like a long Animatrix episode or smth..

I bought it and after choosing the first preset called Neo's Erection my DAW shut down and my computer went into hibernation and now won't wake up. Quick, @Xupito what do I do?

 

BTW it is up & available everywhere after reading all the reviews I don't even want it for free, I'm just fed up with all the crap they put out now and as for TV series if they have a good series the cancel it after one or 2 season. Then the seasons they make have less and less episodes, 6-10 episodes this is shit when I was young TV shows were around 30 or more episodes a season, now with 6-10 they make us wait for years and years unless they cancel because we all lose interest and are fed up waiting forever for an ending. If we all stopped watching, no matter if we like the show or not these bastards would lose a fortune in revenue and maybe then smarten up as for the majority of the lazy useless actors afraid of being typecast, let them work at Walmat or MacDonalds instead or become garbage collectors instead of becoming actors, no more dedication just BullShit ego crap. As for the new Dune release terrible acting and half of the story, you've just thrown away the money it cost you to go see it with your friends plus food at the ripoff theater prices plus the parking and possibly babysitter fees. And they want you to wait till 2023 to see the rest of this stupid movie. The extended 3 hour 1984 and 2000 versions of DUNE are way better.
