Endlesss Studio arrives on Windows and goes completely free.

    Endlesss Studio for Windows
Endlesss is a cool little loop-based jamming app originally for iPhone that brings musicians together to collaborate on “riffs”.
You connect up via the app, someone starts a beat and then anyone connected to the jam can add to it, build on it, effect it or replace it in real-time.
It’s enormous fun and generates a huge amount of musical content.
Last year Endlesss went to Kickstarter to raise funds to turn it into a desktop application that would work with your DAW making it far easier to route audio into the
jams and pull audio out into your projects.

    This looks great!
    And amazing for free.
Most of all, the collaboration aspect is potentially life changing!
Is the word 'riff' under copyright? They've called them rifffs!
And MIDI is an acronym which is why it should be written in caps.
I think I could allow it to not bug me though, under the circumstances!

He said each riff, sorry, "rifff", is tagged with the contributor's name.
Regards song-writer's splits, this covers everybody for any potential commercial outcome.
Obviously one might re-record the idea with other plugins if this happened, but still.
    Pretty cool.

    At this page https://endlesss.fm/products/studio
It says Introductory Offer 50% off - buy for D99 instead of D199 - or "Try for Free"
But that page does look out of date (mentions Windows version will be available summer 2021)

Also, the downloadable user guide talks about "how to purchase".

So, just asking - are you sure it's free? :dunno:

I suppose this could be useful for people you know and regularly collaborate with, but if its open to any and all, say you have 100 or 10000 contributors.. once finished and released specifying rights owners and collecting and distributing royalties could be a nightmare. Even if its just for fun, its still your music and theres always money being made by someone somewhere along the way...
