After standing up we should have developed..
Wings, Telepathy, Telekinesis, Teleportation,
a method to instantly store/absorb all human knowledge,
a method to modify/create reality as we pleased with a mere thought..
and we should have developed as an intergalactic demi-god race that goes to other Planets and spreads life..

But yeah, happy 1999!

We're going back in time. I want 1999 back because we are approaching 1944's Papers Please.

 

The Internet is a huge accumulation of knowledge and information and the key to it is a search engine.
I am in favor of keeping the data where it belongs, namely on a server.

It still is all that matters, the rest of the stuff you worry about is a man-made problem bestowed upon you by your master overlords that enslaved you.

 

The last musical invention was techno / trance / trip-hop. We went through all styles of music, everything has been discussed and saved as a music CD for eternity. Maybe something is still possible with synthesizers, but in reality the 5 synthesis forms have already been immortalized in virtual software synthesizers. Now all old analog hardware synthesizers, digitalized and for sale are quickly offered. Videos and samples will last for the next thousand years. I'm really wondering which companies will still be on the market in a few years. I know the text is not funny.

East West and Spitfire will still be repacking/reselling the same Hollywood and Symphonic Strings samples,
and all the other old-ass libraries.. you can be sure of that..
