I'm aware there's already some threads and advice on here, which I have already read. However, I am still having a couple of problems with libraries.

    1) - When I open Falcon I get an error message saying "Unable to mount volume from "C:/ProgramData/UVI/FalconResources.ufc"

The UFC should be in my documents, shouldn't it? Also if I move it to that ProgramData location, the error message still occurs.

    2) - Some libraries work fine and others won't work at all for me despite the files being in the exact same locations and doing the same things so I don't understand why some are not recognised.

    3) - Every time I open Falcon it doesn't seem to remember the soundbanks being installed and I have to go to my documents and load them from there, is there a way to solve this?

Thanks for any help on this.

    C:\ProgramData\UVI\R2R for the license
    anywhere for the library
point out to that library in falcon itself and Voilà your done

I have done that, but strangely some libraries work fine for me and others Falcon won't recognise despite the licenses being in the R2R folder also. Asteroid and the factory library won't work for me, however, Whoosh and Meteor work fine.

Okay having reinstalled Falcon the error message is now gone. So just the other two points I am struggling with at the moment.

For 2, your R2RUVI file goes to C:\ProgramData\UVI\R2R
Your Soundbanks or .ufs should be in whatever folder you assigned as your soundbanks folder.

For 3, its an easy solution, click this and follow the first thing I said:
    http://audiosex.pro/threads/how-to-see-the-browser-in-uvi-falcon.61945/#post-603361

It should be how you view Soundbanks.

Default Install Structure for Program & Data:
    • C:\Program Files\UVI\falcon
    • C:\ProgramData\UVI\Falcon\FalconResources.ufs
    • C:\ProgramData\UVI\R2R\(all R2RUVI - License files)
    • C:\ProgramData\UVI\UVISoundBanks\(all licensed .ufs bank files)
    • C:\Users\(username)\Documents\User Presets\Keygroups
    • C:\Users\(username)\Documents\UVI\Falcon\User Presets\(any user Presets/Preset folders)
    • C:\Users\(username)\Documents\UVI\Falcon\UVIscript
On my home system all retail/licensed soundbanks located on an internal NVMe
    • E:\instrument Libraries\UVISoundBanks (no sub-folders)
With UVI Workstation years ago, found it best to keep the default folder name for soundbanks files to be accessed without issues.

    Strange problem here:
Falcon works perfectly OK, I can load it, and I can load/use the libraries.

However, if I Save the Reaper project > Close Reaper...

And then Open Reaper > Load the Project = Reaper gets badly stuck/frozen,
and eventually Win7 will suggest the program crashed, do I want to close it?

    Oh well, good thing is:
Loading the project in "FX Offline (recovery mode)",
and then Enabling/Loading Falcon seems to work OK for the most part..
