Use that brain the almighty gave you. In our medium Sound is a result of synthesis. You can also different forms of complex synthesis in relation to the creation or, production of anything that affects the material world around us.

Are you trolling or something else? Of course you have to add a wavetable oscillator like with any other complex synth you choose your sound generator it's not a one trick wavetable pony like Serum.

I remind you we were discussing a software synth and it's types of synthesis, not Sound like a philosophical category. It's certainty a quite interesting subject but ends our discussion for the second time. The first one when you could not prove your own words.

With Falcon there is no sound until, you add a sound source. Serum, Vital & others have synth oscillator(s) producing sound immediately.

Are you trolling me? Are you trolling Me, Are You Trolling Me?

Maybe sometimes you can be Animalistic.
When you like someone, you just eat it!

    Same with synthesizers and sound,
I guess this is neither good nor bad ...

There is actually no real difference except that with Falcon the type of OScillator has to be defined first and no default sound is played when you open an empty instrument.

Its just one single step: Grab an Oscillator type from the OSC browser, e.g. sine and drop it just above the virtual keyboard in the Mapping Filed. This way you'll get a simple sine tone for the keys you have spreaded it over. Simple and intuitive.

If one really needs a tone when starting the app/VST save the above as default multi.

Actually, Falcon IS impressive, in it's on way.
You can make your own "Synth Module" with it, like in PhasePlant, you can make it a Rompler (if you have the needed wave files) and you can make it a hybrid of both. And top it all, with some effects and Modulation.
Hell, you can even make your own GUI, if you want.
It's not something extraordinary, but still impressive in it's own way.
And most of the libraries are sounding really good.
    For example, the Acousticsamples libs.
Never been an easier way to play Guitar on a keyboard for me.

So, I hope you get my point.
And besides, if you would have watched Videos or Tutorials about Falcon BEFORE the release,
you'd already knew what Falcon is capable of.
    No offense, just sayin'. :winker:

I also remember how few users read the enclosed Falcon manual, i.e. the management. I think many users
have reading difficulties or massive concentration disorders. In short, you will no longer get this text read.

If you want to know what it can do and how it works, here is the link to the PDF:

Given your prior post (BELOW) when being questioned or attacked anyone could be forgiven for thinking it is a trite hypocritical attacking someone else and simultaneously saying what you have done within the same post could even be called narcissism.
Sure, we are all better than that and have off-days. Many here can say what they have done and they probably have, but self praise is no recommendation. Your post several pages earlier was more accurate, and we all need to walk our talk better.

To use your comment which is valid "Not impressed by Falcon, am I the only one ?" is the topic, not insulting anyone else and in that, you are correct, to stay on topic.

That'S a good point: "Its own way" is the key.
Falcon takes a slightly different approach to other synths in terms of operation.
With Falcon the creation of an instrument is strictly logically organized in a kind of tree structure. And this in a given hirachy (program -> layer -> keygroup -> OSC).
Falcon also uses its own nomenclature for this hirachy, which you have to get used to.

The rather unusual procedure is intimidating for many beginners at first.

Therefore I think it is a mistake of UVI not to provide a test version.
But R2R has now corrected that for UVI.

I bought the Falcon a few years ago (October 2015), at the time I was
surprised that there was no demo, only a few videos. What a risk.

There was no demo to test because the manufacturer decided that, the reason was that with the
decision cracker teams could not crack their Falcon. And his concept worked out by November 2021.

No sorry, I don't believe that. There were certainly enough suppliers for the app. Just like for Cubase or Protools. For them there is also no serious crack.

No, UVI has lulled itself into a false sense of security and scared off many potential buyers.
I bought Falcon 2017 after thinking about it for a long, long time, because the price was high and the only decision criteria were advertising, user feedback and YT viedeos.

But I was and I am impressed to get on topic again :)

If you aren't impressed by Falcon then wait until you get your hands on the """industry standard""" that is Kontakt.

    Industry standard my ***************.
