I have a question. If you load those VI Labs or Acousticsamples release in UVI Falcon, do you get the same full functionality as you would if you'd load them in UVI Workstation?
Yes i put it on the same HD's as all my other plugins that have hugh librarys Omnisphere, Superior Drummer etc No problem here with the factory lib but i have only tried with the standalone versions so far i cant imagine it would not work with the Vst I just click on devices in the right panel locate the disc i use for plugin content and then point to the right folder Or i can right click in the left panel where it says empty choose load program and then choose devices and locate the right disc (i have 6 harddrives om my studio PC) and right folder and click on the Falcon Factory UFS and voila. But i dont think it sounds so great cant understand the hype this get Maybe i need some third party libs to convince me Last edited: Nov 26, 2021
there is a window in the wrench drop down kinda middle top (not a logical spot for wrench) where you can input folder locations so it automatically populates. yes, factory and 3rd party libs work on an external HD. it says so in the falcon manual. r2r directions say to read the falcon manual for ... dun dun dun.. file location
it seems a little better for stereo spread than other sample players @Guitarmaniac64 . but yeah its just a sample player with built in synthesis like all the others. the deal with this one was that r2r hadn't cracked it yet. but ya know, the more i learn about things like autopan, chorus and EQ'ing L differently than R or M/S, i can put a spread on anything too. P.S i think it looks better than omni, woops i mean sounds better. because it doesn't have eric persings bad hair piece. i mean its better sampled.
a workaround that slightly improves the synthesis oscillators, click the x in the upper right corner, and then open obsession
Question, i love ambient scapes, pads, everything in that direction, which libraries are recommended for that. Thanks for creating one thread to discuss it rather than several ones.
wow sounds cool. Guess i will wait for somebody to drop it. Meanwhile i can learn Falcon, shouldnt be that hard i guess.
just imagine it is the same as: Kontakt Player and Kontakt. Depending how it is setup, you gain great insight and even greater passibility of manipulation.
Question: will we get the Acousticsamples: GD-6 Acoustic Guitar soon and will it work using UVI Falcon?
I bought the Falcon back then as a contact replacement and because it has a great sound and is a real synthesizer. Thanks to Falcon, I never had to install Kontakt.
why not if someone buys and shares it is UVI powered (UVI Workstation 3) and 90bucks is a cheap buy + VTines MK1 is already on sistersite
You can also find installation instructions in the attached PDF. How to install 1.) UnRar/UnZip the File with WinRAR or the Free 7-Zip 2.) Copy and Paste the File: " The Sound Colors for Falcon " into (Example Windows) C:\Users\YourName\Documents\UVI\Falcon 3.) Use your Falcon Preset Browser (Example Windows) Places -> Documents -> UVI -> Falcon -> The Sound Colors for Falcon 4.) Enjoy and have Fun! Sonic Sirius - Synthesizer Soundset
