    Hello,

    can Kontakt do this:?

    Stacking Intruments

    Multi Layer Crossfade

Sure easy stacking works - but what is with the mapping of the instruments or the crossfade!?

    Thanks in advance.

For sure you do... it's NI :)

Just place multiple samples and set root key and move across the piano roll (for range).

After that, apply x-fades for zones on this way:

    - click CTRL + drag borders of zones, horizontaly for "key" x-fades, or verticaly for "velocity" x-fade

For envelopes, use ADSR envelope in zone editor for every sample

    Easy as that

    @ DigiTal_Zero: It's G-Player - giga sample player. Please edit your fullqoute..

@ nikon: Thanks a lot. But I don't want to change samples or their rootkey (what you see in the first picture are instruments).
Also this might be not a funny solution if you want to do this with a lot of or layered samples.
I want to stack instruments (with different zones) and crossfade instruments.

    NI products are not bad..

If you combine this (Group editing) with what nikon said, you'll probably do what you want. You can copy-paste groups of other patches.

Thanks. Even if I think we have a communication problem..

Example: Load 3 instruments (nki) all 3 three instruments let say have 5 octaves. First instrument should offer the whole range, second the first half and third instrument the second half - and as a bonus one octave between the second and third instrument should get faded (out/in)!

I think Kontakt sucks in that case and that there is not such feature.
