    Interesting.
But the video on the web page made me puke my dinner.
It's shot like 90's television , with that stupid jerky and wavering style that is supposed to make you think you are looking at something like real life, when we all know real life ended in the mid 1970's.
Except for Prince, some might say. :beg:

I bought playbeat as a bundle with riffer.
Have to say, I've hardly ever used it. Can't see version 3 as that much of an improvement to justify a fresh purchase price.

Between Playbeat, Algonaut’s Atlas 2 and Sonic Charge’s Microtonic and it’s Patternarium, they are the best drum machines out there for electronic music.

I'm in the same boat, although I just haven't really tried Playbeat yet. Riffer, on the other hand... I really like that and have made use of it in tracks... So maybe I'll try Playbeat out and see how well that works for me.

I've had a lot of glitches and bugs in Atlas 1, and from what I've read, Atlas 2 also has a lot of bugs. Waiting for the dev to fix them, then I'll consider the upgrade.
Microtonic is fairly old, but the updates over the years have been fantastic. The sound itself though might be a bit dated at this point. But yeah Sonic Charge is one of those really respectable developers in my book, they take great care of their customers.

As for Playbeat 3 it looked really interesting, hoping for a good deal on Black Friday.

Riffer is quite good at what it does.
