Following the dark Lexikon skin would require too much effort. the left and bottom panel can be modified (text and background pattern), the shape of buttons can't, and the center-right section with the text of the info in black can't either.*
I wouldn't change the whole appearance. The initial request was due to the ugly urine color skin.

Edit: *however, that info panel could look like an old LCD screen, just like the input fields.**

Edit2: **that would be too distracting, I changed my mind, left it grey in the next iteration, too.

Are these original sizes? Do you mind sharing the original png`s? I can create some skins but somebody has to please insert them back to the dll. Here`s a template example:

That would be a great start, you save a lot of time for me.
The background of the info panel and the input fields has to be light colored because the text in it is black (unless you can recode it from the dll).
This is really cool.

Btw. is AAR basically abandonware now? It's really hard to make the decision to support a company that doesn't seem to exist/support their products anymore.

 

I would say no. The manufacturer would have to approve the product, but nothing can be found on its website.
The manufacturer can decide at any time to further develop his old products. I think the copyright applies here.

I think it already looks pretty good, but I would prefer an even darker version with more black and less gray. Appreciate your work.

 

The knobs are off the place, above the original, therefore the indicator dot is off and its position is coded, not modifiable by its image. There is another png (bmp10104) with the positioning variation of the dot but that does not show up in the plugin, it's a weird useless file somehow.
The indigator line on Damping knobs, on the other hand, can go upper if it's needed (in the bmp10105.png).
The value fields should go one pixel up, so the text appearing in it could be vertically centralized correctly.
The shadow of the knobs are cut on the right side, you need to let them spread (drop shadow) in the main image on the field of the next knob to its right.
And the background color of the frequency display is similar to the low ratio's color, would be better a bit lighter (can't really be darker because the EQ curve is black and would be hard to see in front of black.

Examining your template I just saw that my version is also off with the lines on the Dampling knobs, just one pixel horizontally, hard to see if not zooming in on the screen, though. Never mind.
