    @DarkV I didn't know of this vid. It describes perfectly what OP is looking for (looks like he even simplified the routing).

    @samsome, assuming your understanding, I'm changing Best Answer to his post.

    Sure. Reaper is surely a great program and thanks to Kenny it's possible to learn a lot. It's also clear that you have at least seen quite a few videos and know them well enough to point the right ones out here and that's a great help. now I even put reaper on my online win10 so I can try the techniques right away and I'm forced to use free stuff AND the reaper efx.
    by the way I put an lfo on the hold in the gate do you know how to stop the hold from going to 0? I'd like to restrict the movement on both sides (min/max ms).

    Sure, no problem by adjusting the marked settings. You can also leave the Direction at Positive.
    The good thing is, you can see the impact of the settings immediately in the movement of the Hold fader.

    @NoAvenger

    Hi! Have you been able to get Full Bucket stuff to work in Reaper?

    I found this page...

    I just copied the fb799964.dll to my synth plugins folder and it worked like charm, even on Win7.
