I fully agree.
However, I think it's annoying for professionals also if every second vendor starts to build his own player/download manager ... plus the complexity of the possibilities turns into the Nirvana.
If one thinks commercially - and Pros should think this way - you will add the training costs (hourly rate you can charge customers) to the libraries costs and then decide accordingly.

Guys, JUST WAIT!!! If I have not misunderstood these two Avid releases from R2R are for users who already have legit licenses, both free and standard or ultimate. So I think it will eventually come the former and proper Pro Tools Ultimate R2R. And it will be the biggest day in warez history.

 

Wow, two different releases of PT. Perhaps has something to do with that. Protection different in this version, in this other we can unlock the shit out of it,...

 

ProTools is here only in semi-pro mode...
People, reading is a human gift only no other animal has it to the level humans do. Please use it.
There is an optional folder you use to overwrite as per instructions. Install the free version only if you are unlicensed. It says as much. It says there is no heat integration but in the optional (read instructions) heat is there, just not integrated.
This release is for both first-time users and registered users. For first time users they have enabled most of the features of the full version and it has a separate folder installation. , just not all features according to the destructions.

There is an add-on for full licensed users that allows them to use any and all cracked aax plugins or not certified ones.
In my opinion, as I stated many pages earlier, they are still getting warmed up. There will be a full release.

If anyone has paid attention to how they do things, if they are not going to release a fully functional working pro version, they tend to say so loudly and clearly. This is just the start...


Christmas and New Year is generally their big upload.
