I'd rather see JD-990, but 800 will do just fine, either.

XV-5080 is great, as well as JV-1080. So many nice presets, and I know Roland's synths like the back of my hand, so it's easy to program new sounds for me.

This is some nice news. They're doing a good job with this Roland Cloud.

That's great news. I wasn't too thrilled when it was a subset of Zenology. But it looks like they nailed it
now! I had one back in the day....eventually it suffered from the sticky red glue problem and some of
the controls got a bit wonky so I let it go. It will be great to have those sounds back! And I agree a JP-
800 would be great but I'd like an emu of the JP-880 module even more. It has a few more features and
    it's easier to carry around.....LOL!!

An SH-32 might be nice too!

Insulting them might not be the best way to have them listening to what you have to say.

I don't have a real JD-800 to compare like I did with the JV-1080 and XV-5080, I just hope that they actually used the original uncompressed JD-800 waveforms and not the XV series ones.

Roland Cloud - both as a service and especially in terms of plugins - is fucking awful. Though I know very little about the PLUG-OUT VSTs.

Yamaha probably has no interest in making VSTs, they're probably still doing well enough to not need to venture into VST territory. Unlike Korg. As much as I love Korg I genuinely can't recommend anything from them (in terms of hardware) past the Triton Extreme and the Kronos & its little brothers probably haven't been as successful as they want you to believe. After all, they keep shrinking it down into other keyboards. If you want a DX7 there are hundreds of recreations and wannabes (cough arturia cough) even though accurate recreations of something like the YC-45D would be really neat. They had a YC-3B VST which I like quite a lot but most of their talents are probably (?) busy working at Steinberg. Accurate recreations of the Motif Classic/Motif ES - or hell, even stuff like the PLG-VL card - would be extremely nice (in the vein of the Triton VST specifically) and it's probably not too hard to port the AWM2 engine to yet another platform. If you want some of the old and not really all that accurate (but hey, some of the samples are the same.. at least.) Motif Classic/ES sounds there's always Halion Sonic 1/2/3.
