I am curious for some good music production YouTube channels that primarily focus on electronic music, that aren't run by a douche bag. It seems to be few and far between. They tend to either be boiling with fake content creator douchey energy, or they pretend to be the coolest guy in music production, or it's big paid advertisements dressed up as tutorials.

So any good electronic music tutorial channels, that are current and still uploading regularly, and plainly demonstrate some of the deeper elements of production like a normal person. For some reason, I can retain the info and follow better if I don't think the person is a big ol jerk off.

Bonus points if they show love for Reaper.

    Thanks for any help.

electronic music is quite a big term, are you looking for something specific? are you looking more for theory, arrangement, synthesis, etc? the term electronic music is thrown around very recklessly these days, it doesnt mean much in the first place.

if i have to name one guy, Dan Worral who makes Fab Filter plugins presentation and stuff.. his videos are very well done and informative. but im assuming you are looking for something else.

    cheers

In The Mix. Officially recognized by Image Line (FL). Even tho some are FL specific, there lots of videos that are general knowledge oriented and other interesting topics such as types of compressors, reverbs, etc

    This

Some youtubers have the good taste to say that "the video is sponsored by ...", but more and more often it is hidden advertising. As soon as I realize that the tutorial is biased, I stop watching it

Big Z is good. He's one of the few who's productions actually sound close to world class level, while the other 'content crrators' seem to lend credence to the adage: "If you can't do it, teach it."

Sol State interviews successful producers and condenses the knowledge into short, digestible clips. He also edits together the best advice from their twitch streams. Not as practical as Big Z, perhaps, but still good to have that insight.

I don't personally use Reaper, but the Reaper Mania channel is very well respected and even as an outsider I find it interesting.

Let you know if I remember any others.

Lawnmower man and barely past puberty 4 eyes are the most popular it seems.
Technically great but I hate their mixes.

These days asking for normality when everyone does a "Look at me and subscribe so I can make more money" is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Fabfilters YT channel has excellent introductory videos. Dan Worrall (the narrator) has his own youtube channel as well.

IMHO youtube tutorial videos has come to a saturation point, most of them are not for sharing ideas but just content content content. if there is nice enough video, most of them take ideas from forums like these and make it into a video.
    My opinion,
    1. go to sites like plugin boutique look for a newly released plugin, or just a newly released plugin.
    2. search it in youtube
    3. stay away from the channels who made videos for those plugins. And also those videos with people/youtubers (pardon may language) with a soy face
Over the years ive come across a few channels that are really oriented towards production and sharing the techniques involved.
Right now will share a few which comes to mind

If u are an ableton user(im not anymore) check Sadowick Production, ive never seen any useless video from that dude. Funny thing is when i watch his videos, he reminds me so much of "Jeff" from the movie "Jeff who lives at Home" 2012. Now im not saying that he is Jeff in any way, but i feel both have a same calm vibe, i dont know some might say "peacefull". u have to c the movie to understand.

Reaper look no further Reaper mania(again not even one video that u cant learn something new), Reaper blog ( will add after i check my history), ReaperTV.

General Dan Worall, Kush( of course hes promoting his stuff, hey but hes promoting his own stuff and the dude shares ideas that are worth)
Sage Audio(Promotes sage audio but the content they make is 100% worth taking a look at)

    Will add further later..................

Since you haven't mentioned any genre, I am mentioning a few which come in my head.
Techno/Tech House - Yalcin Efe, Zen World
Psytrance - E-Clip (his videos are quite technical tbh).
If you are into hardwave there's a complete series by Deadcrow.

Everyone does project walkthroughs nowadays it seems, heck even Oliver Heldens posted one last week or so. Instead of watching random YouTubers, I would suggest you to watch/search tutorials/walkthroughs by actual producers.
