Going out on a limb here, but thought someone else might know more about this than I do, does anyone know what .dll or file controls the text colors in pro tools 12, I've been looking but can't find it, if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to offer suggestions......thanks

Open the title in Title tool. Select the text. Double click on the text colour box. Click on the target button (button with 2 circles under the eyedropper button) This takes you to a Swatches and custom colours screen. It will have the colour you just double clicked on showing with HSL and RGB numeric values.

Also if you dont still have the actual title you can park your timeline over the rendered section with the title open the title tool double click on the fill button and use the eyedropper to establish the colour (usefull if you want to get the colour from a video frame) When the colour is selected double click on it as above fot RGB values.

In my limited experience the RGB value I get will be close to ... but the font colour I see back from the printer is not the same as I see from a video screen.

Well, I appreciate the response, but I'm not entirely sure you understood the question, I don't think an eyedropper tool is what I'm looking for

as you already mentioned the last time, i think it is code-related in the executable pro tools file, so your best bet is someone who knows something about codes and reversing, maybe @r4e can dive in and give it a shot?

doubtful they would help us reverse engineering their software, as what @Joe Crisp did is copy the dark theme from Pro Tools 20 into AU Pro Tools 12, he was successful to a point, the issue is that the mixer plugins's font is now dark and harder to read...

 

I'm going to keep trying to figure it out, it's a challenge now
