Any users who use any of the above plugins or both, can u share ur experience. I looking to buy one at a time, but thought it would be nice to know some of ur thoughts on it.

reMidi 1 is on the sister site but unfortunately not reMIDI 2. I think they have made a lot of changes in version 2. I'm aware that i could try the demo, but i guess it must be more like version 1 with pads.(watching 41fingers video will tempt me to purchase)

Also I tried Playtime demo, its nice but the problem is 30 mins runs out by the time i try some ideas.

Last (this might not be entirely related to both plugins, and im fairly new to reaper). While using audio editor i.e when double clicking the audio clip in the cell in Playtime, the item zooms in (audio editor), is there a short cut in Reaper to zoom out of audio editor (back to the previous state)

    Thank you

I actually own reMIDI (2). It goes on sale on Plugin Boutique from time to time, so that's where I grabbed it. Anyways..

I haven't used it a lot, mainly because I haven't made a lot of music since grabbing it, but I use that comboed up with Scaler 2, and it creates some FUN SHIT. lol So yes, I do like it. I like to create some stuff that's a little unusual from what others do though... but I think it's kinda neat how it has a whole crapload of Bach MIDIs and uses those to generate cool patterns for you. Then, as mentioned, combo it up with Scaler 2, and use that to lock into a scale, and you can create some really fun, cool sounding stuff. Great for coming up with some cool rhythms or arpeggios.

YMMV, but the MIDI tools I like are: reMIDI, Scaler 2, and Riffer (by Audiomodern). I also grabbed Audiomodern Chordjam and Playbeat, but I haven't really had a lot of time at all with those two. Riffer has also worked out well for me.. I'm a fan of that for generating some unique sounding plucks.

I haven't used Playtime at all, so no comments on that.

You'd probably receive more answers to that question if you do a separate thread in Reaper section.
