Hello everybody. I'd like to know if anybody knows any kind of site or label to sell some nice original vocals accapellas, you know... the kind of construction kits... I mostly care about the vocals, not the other refference tracks. I'd like some vocals for progressive type of vocal genres, like the label HighLife Samples sell (products like "Highlife Samples Sylenth1 Vocal presets"). I want to build some exlusive tracks buying some of these kind of vocal construction kits, so if you willing to help me, please let me know something, as long as you won't go off topic. Damn... i drunk a little tonight, but don't worry, i really need some usefull thoughts about my topic, because i can't actually find a available singer to work with me, Thanks.

I explored their site "FreeVocals.com" further and i saw they offer vocal sessions with hook and verses (in the platinum services) for 200£, which is absolutely great. :dancing:

 

I don't know anything, just my friend was using some vocals from them, e didn't pay anything as much as I know.
Wow, they charge 200 £. Ripping OFF. I know so many vocalist, just they don't know how to record themself and send it across the net.... hahahha...they are killing for some job but no way to do it themself.

people always tell that they are searching for vocalist but never they say: +++lyrics+++melody+++ back vocals+++ record yourself+++ send it :P +++change it after+++ listen again++++ .....

 

Actually, this label mentioned above it's not gives only a singe lead vocal, they offer a complete vocal session, based on your produced song, including "Vocal hook, 2 verses, chorus, selection of harmonies and/or ad-libs" available on specific references. So, for me, a custom professional vocal session(also think about the high-end recording chain equippment) for 200£ is a steal.

When you're serious about making music, you should accept alot of sacrifices.

 

Exclusive tracks? Create your own. Collaborate with a talented vocalist. Record, sample, cut, paste, loop, trick 'em out, etc.---- They will be yours, they will be unique, and maybe you will learn something from the experience.----I try not to be condescending here, but construction kits are lame. And things that people make with them usually sound like lame things made with lame construction kits. And notice I used the term things, not music. Have I heard decent music made with construction kits, yeah maybe. But by the time you know how to make that stuff your own, you will have the knowledge and skills to move beyond constuctions kits.

I really know what i have to do with vocals, i live from mixing and mastering stuff, so 'r you kiddin' with these kind of advices? In this topic, i was mainly refering to the "exclusive" word, not "non-exclusive"(my bad) which is for everybody. I needed something custom related to my needs, not a bunch of vocal construction kits which you can find them on Producerloops.com or Loopmasters that everyone can gets them. Maybe i didn't pointed it out in a right way, but i needed something custom. Here were i live, i already tried to get in touch with some good vocalists, even with the offer to pay them, but most of them was like "i have no time, i got the graduation this year so i have to study and serve only the concerts" or other situations like others sounding awful, so that's why i wanted a exclusive expensive vocal session, which i found it on the "Freevocals.com" exactly what i needed, they talk with you about it, showin' them what you need, even choosing the singer you like from they'r site... and they will write and record something original exclusively for you. So... my problem is solved. Thanks guys!

Except you have to pay them royalties, which they DON'T tell you how much they are gonna take before you already commited to them with your £200 "deposit".

I tried their service out too - let me tell you how it went... All they do at first is to use that same singer who runs the company, Sanna Hartfield. She's the one you will always get singing for £200, because you can only get the other singers if you pay another £400 ON TOP of that £200 deposit.

So after paying £600 for the voice you really want AND giving them 75% of all your royalties (yes, it's THAT much) they also ask for a bonus payment if your track is released. Oh, and I should also mention that I went backwards and forwards with the singer about 6 times before it sounded right, her singing was ok but she wasn't being "produced" by anyone except herself, and I was guiding her along with emails and trying to get her to understand what I wanted.

To be honest the whole experience was f*%king horrible, I never felt the acapella was even good enough in the end. I recommend you AVOID this company for sure as it was the worst experience of my entire life.

To be honest I would recommend to use a real professional like that sample replay company Scorccio for anything like vocals and acapella stems etc. They never ask for royalties and they always produce the vocals properly by a real trained expert producer. I am going with them for something else even better soon, roll on 2014!!

I am in a position where I am trying to find vocalists to collaborate with. You know like the girl around the way who can sing. They are everywhere but hard to find and depending on the level of your career or budget is usually the biggest problem. It takes money to make it. Scorccio is a great way to get things done, but it depends on your budget.
