Hi ,

I searched for this topic here , didn't find anything related to trading existing licenses here !
on google people mentioned a kvr forum to resell but i have never used that forum before ,
and i am much more comfortable here. Is there any sort of license trading here ?

Could someone please guide me and help me , as in how to price it and how to sell it if at all it's possible here, or another space which is used by most.

So i bought Session Guitarist - Picked Acoustic license separately ,
and then later bought Komplete 13 collector's Edition.
I have an extra overlapping license with me. i thought i could transfer it to someone who doesn't mind buying an individual license at an easy price. So it's win win for both.

How do i go about it ??

people sell software licenses. just make sure whatever vendor allows transfers and whatever fees will be involved.
you can look at threads of people selling and check out how they format things in their post, etc...all the details.

For NI products, when you are logged in @ NI, go to this page here:
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/my-account/license-transfer/request-for-transfer/
to ensure your product is actually able to be sold. If there is box beside it your item, you can sell it. When you are ready to transfer, you actually click on the box, and click on the review and confirm the transfer down the bottom of the page. If you are sure you're going to offload it, I would do this now, rather than when you have someone lined up to buy. The reason for that is it can take a couple days to be approved (if memory serves me)

I've found KVR is as good a place as any to sell stuff. Just know that individual NI products typically don't fetch a lot of money because people tend to get Komplete rather than individual products. So no idea what to ask price wise. NI don't charge any fees at all.

 

Thanks Trenton , yes i have received the transfer id in my mail , after doing all the NI stuff i created a sale post . It didn't take long, NI has a streamlined easy process. i posted a query on kvr as well , will follow that through , i know its a single licence may be someone who only wants one single licence it works for them.
