Every Christmas and New Year, R2R goes crazy with releases and new ones in bulk. Either R2R directly, or RET or DeCibel will release more rack extensions and as for nothing else big.... Soothe 2 and Spiff were said to be impossible. With R2R, from consistency, never say never. I reckon Reason was a warmup. If they can do online apps....think how many are out there... UVI Falcon, ProTools, Spitfire, East West, MAGIX...etc...etc...etc... Last edited by a moderator: Oct 5, 2021
I personally would like to see some actual plugins of the VPS appear on the sister site. Some of them are out for quite a while, and never been cracked.
My understanding is, Avid's going to a subscription only model, and doing away with perpetual licensing altogether, wonder how that would affect the crackers.....be nice if someone could crack the latest perpetual version
I’m pretty sure, in future we will see some barter thing, where we allow, in legit way, using our computers to “mining”. In this case, crack software will be almost over.
I see what you are saying - Consider that Reason is pretty much exactly that., Reason+ definitely is exactly that. As a legit owner, you have to login to use it every time. R2R dispensed with that. Lets say that every software manufacturer went with the subscription model - All they have to do is take one subscription or a full trial, select and install everything, work out where it is stored, do something identical to the cache file structure they created and grant local access, turning off the Internet part of the app. The fact they managed to do that already in Reason 11+12 is indicative they're pretty clever. I hope they're clever enough to pull out a new version of PT, I know everyone is like "pro fool" but to be honest, the workflow suites me, I've tried several other DAW's, Studio One, Reaper, Cubase, even Digital Performer, and can't get anything done as fast as I can in PT, it's a great program, it's just owned by a shitty, greedy company.....imho
None of us are clairvoyants and other than the R2R guys that lurk and watch these threads, nobody else knows what they will do. they keep to themselves, they have no website and never will and advocate not to make money from warez..They have never failed with a 'happy New Year' release for a while and never failed to surprise people. I cannot see that changing unless they decide to completely give it away.
It's not about clairvoyance, but it seems pretty obvious that most recent R2R releases are now back to "standard" release schedule meaning that their 10k wave is more or less over. We will have to wait for new "events" like Black Friday or Christmas/NYE period to get more tasty releases waves. I may be wrong but it's what I feel about it. Last edited: Oct 13, 2021
R2R saved the best until last with the release of Unison Midi Wizard and Unison Drum Monkey. You now all have access to the secret sauce that will give you #1 hit after hit just by pressing a few buttons. And they've saved you hundreds of dollars in the process. A witch says, "the gong is over" (probably)
i mean the pictures had the black friday date, so im kinda assuming thats when the big wave will drop, but like everyone else - not sure
I'm waiting for the latest Massive X, it's showing a black screen on Ableton Live. I don't want to start mixing the team's releases. They always mess up the computer. I prefer to use R2R's stuff but they can be a little slow when it comes to updates. Here's hoping the witches can brew me a update or two in the coming days
Completely delete Massive X Version and install the latest version "Native Instruments Massive X v1.3.4 CE-V.R" it works on thousands of computers. What kind of operating system do you have? I have installed all versions whether V.R or R2R and never had a black screen?
It's crazy how many releases r2r has put out in the last several weeks and while I am thankful and happy for everyone who's benefitting, the only releases since the start of 10k that I have been interested in are ironically from team vr! I'm sure the 10k wave will eventually have something I'll wanna check out. And if not, thats OK, R2R has already been the source of a lot of things I like. Thank you to all the teams!
R2R version 1.3.3 is showing black screen, I prefer to use their stuff. Native Instruments corrected the problem in v. 1.3.4. I've installed both teams in the past and because they have different methods, it seems to mess things up a bit. Look at their Arturia installs for example as well as NI, different file sizes, directories and serials. When you use say R2R's keygen, it warns you that the path is dirty which it was in my case because there were old VR serials in there.
R2R's post 10k releases have been objectively extraordinary in its strengths, including of course Reason, Arturia, SSL, Kush Audio, Slate. The expectations were probably too huge and far out of reach. But something interesting can happen in the next few months, especially since we are talking about the greatest Team of all time after all.
