Why do you assume anyone wants to buy what they already take for free?

 

A milion bucks thess days gets you a pancake and free coffee refill breakfast at the corner diner. Money ain't what it used to be.

I prefer earning small amounts of money and working in the background. That is, I like exposure as I like having diarrhoea. Some people call it "being humble". I call it "having peace", and I'm not humble at all. Just antisocial. Also, I'd been somewhat famous in my 20s, and it was alright because I wasn't so famous that people annoyed me on the street, restaurant, whatever. On rare occasions, someone would recognise me, and that didn't feel that bad. Probably because I was never into pop music, and mostly pop musicians get recognised a lot.

One should always consider the downsides of being famous, like people bullying you everywhere to get an autograph, or fucking selfie etc. I would end up manically depressed alcoholic on drugs. Oh wait... hmmm No, I haven't gotten that far, but if I was famous I'm absolutely sure I would. One's peace of mind is one's temple IMO.

Some people enjoy exposure, and they would be very happy with a deal like that. We're all different. I just love making music and all things music, from ethno to some pop, and I love my privacy.

I initially voted "no". But, on second thought... maybe I should take you up on that offer...

About boring life... you think all other people's life is entertaining? Wouldn't you say you follow too much Facebook, Instagram and similar BS?

I follow no social networks. I think it's a waste of time. Unless you're trying to get yourself noticed. Life is so much more than wasting time on social networks.

 

Generally I would agree. I only use FB. But only to read news about my favourite music and to ask questions about electronic circuits and where to get electronic components and repairing gear. For this FB is very usefull.

 

I've sold my privacy just by engaging the digital realm.. so yeah I'll take the million.

 

Answering this... just gave away another chunk of your privacy. Don't bother saying 'the first ones free'. That ship sailed a looong time ago.

i'm almost never on social media and still find my life rather boring compared to 10-20 years ago, ofcourse things change but that doesnt make it any less boring when accepting that.

the fact that other people have a boring life as well doesnt matter. it makes no difference. just like having a broken ankle or leg or arm doesnt hurt any less when in a room filled with people having a broken ankle or leg or arm.
