    Too late!
Good comments from @Tuxor except he picked the wrong girls to kick BTS asses.
Try these instead - girls that know how to play - I think I'm in love with the drummer.

There's plenty of hope and young talent alive today.

    Agreed.
The bass player is good too, actually, the whole band can play modern rock very well and they're all using high-quality gear.

The "new" Paul is fucking talented, a great songwriter and singer too. Just imagine if they had found each other before the real Paul had died?

Agreed - refreshing compared to washed out BTS and similar.
I hope not - like I said I'm in love with the drummer :winker:

    Hmmm that's quite a Strange/interesting track actually..!

The guitar chords reminded me a bit of Hendrix somehow,
and the whole production is more like, i donno.. Floyd meets Bossa soundtrack?

And then there's that super high and strange line:
"but there's no one left at home when I believe I'm gonna rain?"

    It's a Risky move,
and doing that comes out as a somewhat Weak musical resource.. (regardless of tuning problems..)

    So..
Would someone reportedly as Great in the traditional Craft of making Songs as the supposed Orig Paul was, do something like that?? :dunno:

-I any case, I would really like to know:
What you Beatles fans, or ppl who lived the times, think about this video?

    Who is that guy?
Doesn't he resemble the actual Early Paul in more than just one way?

    As I said..
his physical size, skull shape, his Eyes.. the tone and sense of humor..
doesn't this guy look, speak and move in a remarkably similar way to the Early Paul?

It's all very coincident to say the least..

Or maybe it's just coincident/convergent, and all ppl from that area of England looks alike..
just like all Chinese ppl looks similar to outsiders, you know?

The Beatles were pretty good at chord progression for their great melodies, they joined with Mr. Martin at Abbey Road Studios at a convenient time etc.............
It all fused together in the most positive way it seems.....

Desmond Dekker had a huge hit in 1969 with Isrealites, at least in the USA, it was constantly on the radio. It was also one of the first songs that I learned on guitar.

Why, yes. In a past month, how many The Beatles' or similar style songs have you listened to?
Modern pop uses all the same structure and four chords. Which, to Beatles' credit, haven't originated from them.
Anyways, instead of arguing about what's influence and what isn't, let's put it this way: I wasn't talking about pop music. I think it has cultural significance only, and even that is arguable.
To Beatles' credit again, they actually got some strong melodies going.

I thought I'd seen it all, but I have never seen someone comparing The Beatles to BTS, who, by the way, I´ve never heard of ´till today.
    Live and learn.

If I was seven feet tall I would have been in the NBA, and if I was black and born in Virginia in 1776 would have been a slave for my entire life. In 1966 Steve Aoki would be a nobody, and in 1948 this forum didn't exist.

The Beatles transcend both time and space and after Paul had died he was reborn anew like Jesus and continued his musical life here on earth with the band Wings. George actually is still alive and living as a trans woman on the island of Oahu. John's death was faked and he is still living and part of the secret FBI witness protection program after testifying against "Fat" Tony Salerno on December 7, 1980. The only one of the Fab 4 that has had a normal life in public is Ringo, the greatest drummer in the history of Rock 'n Roll.

I respect your opinion and I do not disagree with you that unfortunately, too much of the current pop music uses the same four-chord ideas in one way or another but this is not true of every pop tune and certainly not the ones that stand out the most as being really good.
The really great tunes that occasionally pop up, you might find the composers were influenced by many people including Beatles or at the least they have heard a fair bit of their music. I can actually name a few but I'll leave you with a quote you can find is pretty accurate.

"Growing up, I was inspired by The Beatles and Bob Dylan............".

    - Ed Sheeran

P.S. One thing has been true for many decades. There are songs that are geared towards making money and those 4-chord wonders you speak of fall into that category and that concept in other ways has been around for a very long time. Then there are writers who try to write a good piece of music or a good song that happens to become popular. The latter is how I see the Beatles.
Some songs are timeless and the Beatles fall into that category with many of their songs. That is why they still get covered even to this day.

If a lot of people eat at Mc Donalds, and Mc Donalds is one of the largest corporations, that doesn't mean that Mac Donalds produces good healthy products. So there is also the charts and the top 100 and most of the clicks and likes. In no way does it reflect the quality of the product. So they stop doing what the crowd does. Look for unknown bands and songwriters, the best thing to do is to become one yourself. Go to a record store and listen to the worst-rated music. In the case of films, they should also give the underrated films a chance.

There were bands like The Beatles who were arguably just as good but not as successful just like around the time of Nirvana. There is a lot helping there which isn't them, behind the scenes too. They also fucked with Sgt. Pepper who is chief down below.

Having said all that anyone else could say or notice but some of their songs are imprinted into my mind like tattoos are on skin. I can't put my finger on why some of their songs are some of my favorite but they just are and that's the way it is.
