So on my laptop I'm trying to get the emu working. The problem is, I can't get loopback midi installed! says fatal error every time. I am using windows 11 latest version. Is there any way to bypass this to use the emu with fl? i want to use the typing keyboard if possible!

 

Hmm..the cpu usage is absurd. Got it to 'work' in fl studio without gui.

I used it in reaper since it came out and it worked perfectly fine

 

100-101% cpu usage on 2.3ghz dual core 4 thread laptop.almost locks up computer

It's advised to have at least an i7 4790k. Don't blame it on the emu, blame it on your CPU.
The emulator won't get faster than what it is right now.

No. It doesn't work on FL, because FL doesn't pass SysEx info. Wait for an updated version that doesn't require VirusHC

I grabbed the beta gui version. amazing. you guys are freaking brilliant. works on my i7-3770K @ 4.7ghz. wouldn't go any lower though lol

 

Pro tip : You actually can use this on a 2.3ghz dual core 4 thread laptop lol. All you have to do is simply make your melody in fl keys. then, copy melody to dspemu. Now select a patch and render audio!!! hey it works! :D

You should definitely check out the gui beta vers. from discord. spire sucks compared to this lol.

its beta without graphics but has all (automatable! ie you can record filters etc.. in fl studio) parameters just join their discord and d/l or send me a pm

The last version with tones of fixes, sysex, UI with sliders and more is 1.2.0 October 5 2021.
Pinned to Discord beta-testing thread. Opens all presets from all soundbanks (VirusHC doesn't open it fully). Still a lot of bugs, but it works.

 

I have it running in logic 10.5 and it is smooth. this is sick.
