    From myself:
As far as I know, Windows 11 does not yet have a drag-n-drop feature (i.e. you cannot normally drag your files, such as audio tracks, into the digital workstation) but this is not certain, maybe this feature has been brought back in this release. And in general I do not see the point of putting it, as everyone is now using version 10 of Windows, it has all the possible devices are supported, rather than at 11 Windows, which needs a supported processor, TPM 2.0, so Microsoft has made a stone which is difficult to bypass the ordinary users.

TPM is staying as is secure boot, microsoft says, you can install it on a pc with no TPM or SECURE BOOT as there is a way around it BUT you will not get any security updates and you will have to aggree to that.

Unless your job depends on it, then there are very few things that makes it a must-install right now. If you want, make a clean install on a separate drive.

Personally I'm going to wait, Win10 is still good for 4 years so there's no rush. In the coming months we shall get fixes/updates and maybe some benchmarks on the new kernel.

But that's just me, for now 10 with Powertoys and other additions is good enough.

My only wish for Windows is something like Core Audio, everything else is perfect as it is.

Windows 10 has been on the market for over 5 years. It's about time for a successor, isn't it? This is what some subtle rip-offs apparently thought, too, who promptly tried to trick unsuspecting customers into a new version of Microsoft's operating system. GIGA clarifies what this is all about.

Windows 11: rip-offs sold "Windows 10" successors for horrific prices Have you also installed Windows 10 on your computers? Then it's best to put some money aside, because according to the "experts" at SoftwareKeep, Microsoft will present the official successor at the beginning of July: Windows 11. Tech-savvy people should hardly be surprised that this is of course absolute nonsense, but there are enough unsuspecting customers who fall for this scam. On its website, the “Microsoft certified partner” offered the Windows 10 successor at a proud price of 174.99 US dollars. Compared to the current version, features such as an improved start menu, a new graphic design, device protection and an improved e-mail program were advertised. Even counterfeit packaging was displayed on the side.

Caught! Scammers take Windows 11 from the network The offer aroused interest from an editor at BetaNews, who promptly contacted the site's support team to find out what it was all about. When he pointed out to the relevant employee that no new Windows version had been announced by Microsoft, the support team said that the official announcement should take place on July 1, 2020, that sales would then start at the end of the month. After the conversation went back and forth a bit, it was agreed that there would be no agreement, as this excerpt proves: “Mark, we can argue about who is right and who is wrong. It would be best if we wait until July 1st and then we will meet here and see who is right and who is wrong. ”- Emir, SoftwareKeep Shortly after the exchange in the chat, however, the editor received an email in which SoftwareKeep admits its mistake, will take the corresponding product offline and assure him that no sales have yet been made. Meanwhile, an apology from the dealer has also been published. Here one goes into how this "misunderstanding" could come about. According to SoftwareKeep, they had the relevant information about Windows 11 from a potential insider, but now admit that it turned out to be a duck.

Yeah, no thanks. Windows 10 will be the last version of Windows I'll ever use, period.

Remember, this is the same OS that forces you to create an online account during install. There is no way around it like on previous versions. Disconnecting your LAN/Wifi means you won't be able to install the OS. I think that's also the reason they decided to make a Windows 11 to begin with. They're trying push total surveilance of their users and a new version of Windows that forces you to create an online account is going to guarantee that for them.

Just like how they basically made smartphones mandatory with the introduction of digital vaccination passports. How convenient that there's a global pandemic raging at the moment, maybe a little too convenient to be a coincidence. People need to wake the fuck up. We're being pushed from all directions into a world where we own nothing anymore, everything is digital and were we're constantly being monitored. And this shit was probably released from the lab to accelerate that process.

I am running it and GUI is very inconsistent. Just like windows 10, they released Windows 11 in a hurry, incomplete. It will take 3-4 years to become an usable operating system.
Look at this ugly context menu:
Blue bar is thin and looks weird.

What a rediculous statement that is (3-4 years to become a usable operating system)! They did not release Win11 in a hurry. Where do you get all this misinformation?

    Wish granted: WASAPI.
Developers just need to integrate it into their software.

To compress a file with winrar, right click on a file, a beautiful context menu appears. Click on more options, and the old windows 10 context menu appears which includes winRAR options. That's dumb.

Right click on a file/folder & click properties. White themed properties window appears, even when you are on dark mode.

No tabs in File explorer, it is most requested feature for more than 10 years.

I just wish they would stop copying Apple and innovate like they used to. Windows 10 is train wreck that can't decide where it would like a user to edit settings...
