Strange fades in the beginning
I press the space bar at the beginning (play) and it plays as if the fader in the beginning, the attack at all killed, I do not know. And then normally plays kick punch, and at the beginning it is not clear why the attack is killed.

Strangely, the file I downloaded above, it sounds fine in the beginning, try downloading the zip archive with the mp3 file, there is clearly a problem at the beginning

 

Also in the reaper itself there is no attack, I do not know why, all crossfaders are turned off

If you zoom in too much, you see samples with faders, beginning and end

 

This made me mad when I started using Reaper a few years ago. They should turn this setting off by default.

 

The Reaper guys kinda have a thing for fades. By default on playback and in any sound file import. I still love them, I'm a forgiving person...

 

Delta button (difference/dry/wet) coming soon. Download latest beta or rc, it is still being improved though, but it already works. Click on mix button (right mouse click), but you need output gain match.

 

Also the new stock ReaLimit plugin. Reaper's got more features than any competition and still being updated frequently.

 

I'm veery curious about it's sound quality. But maybe we're going too off-topic here @MINIGUNPUNK?

 

Delta buttons usually include gain matching, no?

 

I'd like to know your opinion about ReaLimit plugin , but yes, better create a specific thread.

 

Try turning off all plugins ex ssl bus comp has a fade in and out

Always best to have a little read before commenting.

 

Usually, wet minus dry (correct: summing wet and dry phase-inverted)... Tried, but did gain matching manually. Maybe they will add such a feature
