The Keygen code makes the 'authorize or demo' box vanish, and I can use the plugin.

However, next time I open the plugin, it asks for the serial again.

Am I doing something wrong?

Running a Mac OSX Mojave 10.14.

DAW is Ableton 10.1.

The download folder is explicitly for OSX.

There was no installer I could see. I just manually dropped the VST, VST3 and Component files into their respective folders.

I put the contents of "Application Support" in Application Support folder.

I used CrossOver to run the Keygen.exe. I left the username r2r gave, and also tried putting "1".

There are some extra items in the folder that I am not sure what to do with, if anything.

Files like "r2r-7618.r00"

Any ideas?

hey bro, idk if you still facing this issue, but this is a common issue when the library folder is not installed to the admin library. To fix this you need to make a copy too he folder in application support on the system library, open a new finder window and go to computer -> library -> application support. OSX has two library folders, one for users and other for administration.

 

Mojave is not OSX but macOS. OSX finished back in 2016.

No. macOS has 3 library folders; you forgot ~usr/local/lib.
And obvs the 2nd libary, User library, is found by holding alt and clicking on Go in the Finder...

instead of 1 directory up the info says. anyway, it works fine. Mojave, Logic 10.5.1
