Today I found a major issue (for me) with Reason 12 and VPS Avenger.
As soon I load Avenger, Reason automatically freezes and crashes.
Did anyone else found any other VST's crashing in Reason?
Would be nice to create a "database" for known non-working VST's in Reason.

I know... I only install the 64-bit versions of the VST because of this.

Wow that's pretty restrictive..

 

Yep, I'm considering a "professional" DAW (actually I'm using REAPER 6 - it's an excellent DAW, and limited Ableton Live 11 Lite) - but I've seen:
- no VST3 support (like Native Instruments' Komplete Kontrol & Maschine 2), it a shame in mid-2021!
- No VST (2.4) outputting MIDI (bye bye 3rd-party arpeggiators/chorders/groove machines/sequencers...).
- No multitimbral VSTi ( Omnisphere 2?). ==>

Be sure my choice will no go to Reason!
When they're supported (Reason 18?), you'll must paid again and again (129) for every upgrade.

In this case, be sure it will be a long and fastidious task!
Better (IMHO) will be to create a "database" of known-working VSTs, instead.
