Anyone else got this or got any idea why it's happening? I read something about installing latest VC, which I've done but still no joy.

Any ideas or anyone else having same issue?!?!

I just recently tested VTM, no problems.

 

What's weird is that Fresh Air (a VTS3) and FG-X (x64 VST2) both open an work fine, but the rest of their plugins won't open for me for some reason?!

I'm using up-to-date Windows 10 Pro x64 and also tried in Ableton, Cubase, Studio One, Maschine, FL Studio etc and no luck in any of them. When I try to load they will look as if trying to open for a couple of seconds and then nothing. I've also tried uninstalling, cleaning and reinstalling with no luck. The previous releases before the fairly recent R2R updated versions were all opening fine too

 

Had loads of problems with VMR RET showing errors after installing or just not showing up.So reinstalled Previous R2R and that stopped working then the VerbClassics stopped too. I Did a System Update Refresh and installed the vcredist2015_2017_2019_2022_x64. Then reinstalled VerbClassic and VMR (R2R) .They both now work so i then installed VTM and it installed without any problems. Now all three work BUT i only installed the VST2 on all 3 as i think VST3 was giving me the problems. Win10 using Ableton 10/11
I didn't want to try the RET VMR again as it took me 7 hours of messing around to get the original installs working again.

 

This is different. The DAWs do see them and they appear in my plugins list, they just don't load when I try to add them to a track.

 

Do you have a link to the exact one you used? Whichever I try install fails saying I already have newer version installed. May try to uninstall and then reinstalled the version you tried to see if it makes any difference.

 

Ah I understand. Did the plugins that did not appear worked before?
Are the non-published plugins from a different download / team than the published ones?

Yeah, the previous versions were working fine at the time, but the recent updates seem to have broken something.

And they are always the ones from the sister site I've been using

Ok, seriously, that's really strange. I've no idea what happened with the recent updates.

 

The Version i used was the Slate.Digital.Virtual.Mix.Rack.Complete.v2.5.2.1.FIXED.READ.NFO-R2R .. you can't link to wares but you may be able to find it on the sister site.. Don't think i've broken rules putting that?? Hope that helps?

 

I noticed on the RET 2.6 it said "In this v2.6 update, Slate removed their custom cryptographic protection" If you over-installed that might be the problem if they have changed the protection it might cause conflicts . Like i said took hours to get it all working again.

 

Tried this and seems to make no difference?!?! You can see here they are all installed, all x64 versions and all latest versions available

 

O.K - Plan B: Un-install all Softube Plugins - Clean the Registry - and install and older " R2R " release.

Sister Site: Enter "Softube R2R" in the search mask! But you already know all that.

EDIT: It should of course mean: Slate - Digital

I assume you mean "Slate Digital" and no "Softube"

 

Oh man - I'm getting old - sorry!

 

you cant use C:\ProgramData\Slate Digital symbolic link to other drive,
if you use symbolic link,Slate Digital Plugins will not opening or loading in any DAW

 

I have no links, shortcuts, symbolic or hard junctions or otherwise. Everything is installed in their default locations and the path you detailed above is populated with folders for each plugins and includes all their resource files and so on.
