Hey everyone, I have the (2020 december) version of the V collection 8. However, a lot of them did not have the nks preview files included in them (arp 2600, cs-80 V3, farfisa V, jup-8, matrix 12 v2, mini v3, modular v3, prophet v3, sem v2, solina v2, stage 73 v, stage 73 v2, wurli v2) and there were no templates at all for emulator ii v and vocoder v (so these don't show up on my komplete kontrol). Does anyone have the nks files for any of these? I tried presetmagician but apparently it cannot find the presets and create templates for these. Thanks!

 

Arturia doesn’t offer templates for many individual instruments in v-collection, not even for their own keyboard controllers like the key-lab series, maybe that is why you can’t find nks either. In analog lab there is a basic setup but mostly one has to setup manually

There're third party tools to create NKS presets (or however is called). But if you don't have the samples for the presets nothing can be done besides creating them for yourself.
I don't know much more about NKS.

Hey there, I thought arturia made v collection 8 nks-compatible already. That's probably why I have nksf files already made for a lot of the v collection instruments. It's weird that a few of them just don't have the files though

 

Version 8.1 of the V collection is fully NKS with the exception of analog lab, as Arturia make their own controller keyboards, analog lab is aimed at these, and they always take a further 6 months to add NKS to any new products.
