I told the OP to install Mojave months ago. I have yet to encounter 1 non-operational or even problematic Mac scene release yet for my non-M1 Macs. Downgrading to Mojave when possible, or screwing around with Catalina is still not a hard decision. Nothing in the Logic 10.6 update is worth it.

 

you can always install an older os on older machines, you need to obtain the correct firmware which you can also find online,
Google all this including to see how much Apple makes, no brainer

I nailed catalina now, i can restore cloned back ups, only seems that Sip slows it down, but interesting things happened when i turned sip back on,
1- logic reported that izotope ozone pro was corrupt and downloded from ——-
2- photoshop had been screen recording
3- fcpx would share a video of the last session upon reboot, i shut wifi off when rebooting
4- had to block some things again via little snitch, just 3-4 things.
Sip cripples logic memory, same audio plug (paid) needs more buffer

Majove is worse, allot wont run on majove, it also does not support 32bit so…not for me, i need fcpx too

Btw i block allot of ocsp stuff, apple mail and gmail wont work with out it as they collect all your traffic, im ok with mail on my ipad

aside all this i tested waves 13 as ppl reported a trick which starts erasing your system and what do u know, the command line connects you to waves servers, you suddenly cant shut wifi off, i was back up from my clone in 40 mins but its ll true., waves 13 runs with out the trick terminal command..remove the network folder yourself manually before sharing your mac password lol

Majove sucks, no. FCPX, no 50+ new plugs work, all is fine in Catalina, just need to set some things up right

 

I suppose with a face like yours you would HAVE to have a defence mechanism..

I tried it and it still formatted my drive to AFPS and so many new apps can't run on MAJOVE, what are you running on it thats new? please tell me cause ram not convinced it the best solution.

I like most who need password to login are protected by privacy laws as much as the site is,
I should also remind you that the end users are more protected then the sources been developers and providing software compromised with malware or in eligible agreements requesting permission from a user to act un lawfully on their part.

United States Code Title 50, Chapter 36, Subchapter 1 Section 1809 Applies to not only developers but also agencies such as NSA or individuals who engage in lacing software to criminal

So why do some people here REFUSE to share insight on protecting themselves from malware, spyware, where to look, how to check their software to be sure?
