No offense taken, but I'm serious about getting one of those, even if I have to tie a rope to my chair & drag it behind me. It looks like it can take the abuse.

@Oon3 you know the dimensions for the depth from the front to the crossbar? I'd like to know if I'll have enough room to roll my chair under it. Anybody ever tried playing a full 88 keys in their lap?

Thats whats great about this stand !! It'll go up to 4 ft. - 8 inches Tall
And close to 4 1/2 FOOT wide !! At the same time , it can be down-sized to
a small foot print as well !! The damn thing is the heaviest guaged steel
Ive EVER seen or used for a mixer/keyboard/ect .... EVER !!!!!

When ya go after it , no sweat aT all ; its totally a 'take down' stand, comes
in a box about 20x4 across the top & about 4 foot tall. Hell get two while yer
there bro , Trust me ... it wont be like you'll never use 'em both !!

I've been just cursing my "X" keyboard stand when I saw this post.

However, it would be hard to get it here, but anyway I should buy some better keyboard stand and make this "X" stand an "EX" stand.

Regarding the desk, I have a really versatile IKEA one... quite modular, great value. But I don't keep the speakers on it. I use speaker stands for speakers and I don't think this table would be good for speakers, except the Auratones or similar. ;)

Ha, this ended up being a very useful post to me. I ended up getting a line on a mint, 4 month old M-Audio Axiom 49 mk2 for super duper extra cheap. And I needed a stand--but I hate wobbly stands with a passion. However, I am also a cheapskate. As such, this limits my options drastically lol. Picked up the Axiom yesterday, and I just placed an order on amazon for one of these stands. I'm glad it is adjustable, as now I can get both of my main boards the same height in an "L" type configuration. Thanks for the post! Saved me some dough!

Update: Still loving the stand. I picked up a universal 2nd tier for it and it works wonderfully. Great stand. Thanks for the heads up. For $35, you could certainly do a whole lot worse.
