I was there both when peace-out and Assign ended. I remember that nfo's clearly stated that peace-out became Assign then Assign became R2R. Maybe team members were not identical from one team to another (hence the name change ...) but some core-members were present in both teams when the name changed. Date in the nfo is clearly the release date of the announcement, not the release date of the surprise ... Nfo reads that this big project took time and possibly will take some more time. It's a way to say "we are still here, working on something big, be ready" the official way.
I think it's a clear message. They had a similar release as team assign as their last release (look at the release named bye from here: https://upawg.ca/index.php?Search=-assign) and then they came back 4 months later as team r2r. I expect the same thing here. Probably this is the end of team r2r and they will be back in another form.
Yep the "Bye" nfo from Assign clearly quote both Peace-Out and Assign logos / nfo headers in it, then they came back with R2R. An obvious filiation. Not sure they will be back under a new name BTW, R2R is a strong name now, they did proove their knowledge, I doubt they will drop R2R for something new ... We will see ...
The Cherry Audio stuff is relatively cheap, and you can always get discount on their synths too via other sites. Personally, I think they're great value for money and it's one of those devs I like to support
How is it similar to this though? Its gonna be R2R still they are just saying next chapter. 'Story continues'. They wouldn't release 10,000th if they weren't going to carry on in the 5 digit releases, just more of taking a moment to appreciate the milestone and prepare for the next chapter which will likely come in the form of some serious releases

Yep true, 9 years for R2R only. Storywyse I think Fenrir, QUADRA and GoGe-MonSooN were in both Peace-Out and Assign. Not sure about Chicken, Slytherin or MYSiDiA. Old Peace-out nfo stated : " Read CONTACT notes, we want to setup a new TEAM with new members! * This is not a joke, just in case ;) " Assign wasnt created from scratch ... ;-) And the "BYE" nfo from Assign included Peace-out logos as well (nfo headers). They are silent since their last 9999 release in april, so it's a way to say "we are still here, still busy, it will take a little bit more time". At least that's what the nfo seems to explain ...
