Thank you guys. I will keep away from Behringer then.
I need to connect a mic and a synth mainly, and a guitar occasionally. It is for a home studio.
The mamufactures don’t say about recording two mics simultaneously eg, iD14.
iD14 is equipped with ADAT. Is an optical that @Dimentagon mentioned? Is it two-way system In-Out?

 

2 x microphones are 2 x mono - i.e. 2 x sockets

Input You monitor in stereo off 1&2 connected to your speakers or your headphones off the headphones. then you have 3&4 for other outputs or another set of monitors. The Optical input connects to an optical output from a pre amp AD like an Apogee AD16x or a Behringer 8 channel Preamp.

At the moment I have exactly this configuration: Audient ID14 and Behringer ADA 8200 8 channels
I have a very good opinion of the id14, it has very good performance for the price.
ADA8200 instead has a low standard and I do not find it satisfactory, the usual Behringer sound ...
Speaking of adat interfaces, I find the Audient ASP880 to be excellent, even quite expensive unfortunately
