    Awsome sound and awsome script!!!!

    NI scripters really press the ultimate out of Kontakt :wink:

    But 300 euros for a 3,2 Gb library is pretty much a overkill!

    I believe NI's in-house scripters have inside access to the Kontakt engine, as Kontakt seems to be modified to have new features which raise the bar with their releases. This is why most of the time when NI releases a new Kontakt library, a new version of Kontakt is released along with it.

    Hence Kontakt 5.3.0 with Action Strikes.

    When I saw the price ($299) I immediately thought: Oh man, this is going to be a 20gb library!

    they used NCW for sure - so this could have 7-8GB Sample size easy.

    well not another orchestral perc library, waiting for a new independent synth (not to keen to use reaktor).
    Massive 2 would be fine with some cool inventions.

    I guess they cannot compete with Hans Zimmer Cinematic Percussion, but for a little bit of percussion fun it's all right.

    BTW "Action Strike" is a Kontakt sample library, so it cannot be cracked. :rofl:

    I thought I'd search for reactions to the release and found this post (a bit late - I realize that).

    I'm the scripter for Action Strikes, so thanks for those kind words. :)

    Regarding the size, please note that it's quite compactly stored. If all the included rhythm variations (for each ensemble and each of the two mic perspectives) were rendered to audio files at 120 bpm and one were to add the size of the single hits to that, then the total uncompressed size would be 55 GB according to my calculations.

    I'm not in-house, and I don't think the in-house scripters have much greater access to the Kontakt engine either actually.
    Kontakt scripts are limited in a number of ways so one just has to try to be creative to overcome the limitations. It's a constant challenge.
