So I am learning this software and I have an issue that is not addressed in any of the few tutorials I can find.

I have a pushed Amin7 whole note that starts on the 1/4 bar before the next bar and it is to hold (with natural fade) for the duration of 1 bar and stop playing on the 1/4 before the next bar.

Then another pused chord (Dmin7) whole note that starts on the 1/4 bar before the next bar and it is to hold (with natural fade) for the duration of 1 bar + 1/4 beat and stop playing before the next bar.


Its easy to write 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 notes and fill a bar but I can find no way of doing what I need.

I have spent hours, true hours, trying everything but nothing works.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

 

Sustained notes across bars need to be Legato,
this is not a Guitar Pro quirk, but the way a score works..

That only seems to work if the sustained notes are on beat 1-4 of a bar but it wont work (for me at least) when the
sustained note starts on beat 4 of a bar and carrys across to beat 3 of the next.

I am probibly not doing something right but I am unable to see what.

 

A note on bar1 beat4 needs to be extended to bar2 beat3..

First place the note on bar1 beat4
then scroll the cursor to the Right moving it to the next empty bar, and press L (for legato),
the note will Tie.
then extend the tied note length pressing the + or - button to make it a full 1/2 note, and press . to make it dotted

In a chord all notes must be Tied with Legato like that
